                                                                                  First Time

     Lauren

I yawned and stretched as I rose from the bed. Quin was no longer there. "Baby!" I yelled for him. I didn't get an answer. I found a note sitting on the bed. I picked it up and opened it.

Good morning beautiful. I leftt at 8 30 to plan things for tonight. I left something under the bed. Take that and go shopping, get ya nails done and stuff. There will be a driver to come get you at 7 30, so be ready. See you tonight peaches.

I smiled as I closed the note. My nickname for him was peaches. I looked under the bed and found a small, black bookbag. There were four stacks inside. I shook my head. I took my phone from the dresser and called Quin. "Hello." he answered. "Quin, you left about 60'000 just so I could-" He cut me off. "Yes Lauren." I sighed. "You didn't have to leave me any money, I have my own."

"Well, I did. It's two in the evening, get ya day started. See you tonight." Before I could respond, he had already hung up. I threw my phone on the bed. I slid off my night gown. I went into my bathroom and hopped in the shower. When I finished, I brushed my teeth. I threw on a pair of black skinny legs, a black tank-top, and all black Jordan's. I brushed my hair up into a bun and put on my gold hoops. I grabbed my car keys, my phone, and the bag full of money. I took a picture in my body mirror and sent it to Quin. I locked all of my doors before leaving.

I hopped into my car and started the engine. I backed out from my driveway and headed to the mall. My phone started to ring. I knew it was Quin because of the ringtone that sounded. "What's up?' I answered. "Peaches, you ain't going no where witcha' fuckin' titties out like that. You must be crazy out yo damn mind. Go change now!" I laughed at him. "I'm already headed to the mall." He smacked his lips. "I don't give a damn. Turn around." I shook my head. "Bye Q." I hung up.

In less than thirty minutes, I had made it to the mall. I grabbed my shades from my purse and put them on. I got the stacks from the bookbag and shoved them in my purse. Versona was the first store I went to. I needed more jewelry. I bought a few necklaces and bracelets. I went into Versace. "Lauren?' I looked up from my cell phone. I placed my shades on the top of my head. "Tyler?" I looked at the guy carefully. "Yeah, it's me. How you been girl?" He hugged me. I hugged him back. "I'm good, how are you?"  Tyler had been my guy friend back in my high school days. "I'm good. You changed a lot. I remeber you had braces and glasses. You look hella sexy." I laughed at him. "Thank you. You ain't changed a bit, you still look good. It's been like four years." Tyler nodded his head. "Just about. I'm kind of in a rush right now, you should let me have your number. We should get together sometimes." I gave Tyler my number and he programmed it into his phone. "Nice seeing you again. Imma hit you up." He hugged me again. "Okay. See ya later." Tyler smiled at me as he walked away. Him and the rapper Rich Homie Quan could go for twins.

I bought a few outfits from Versace. I shopped in a few more clothing stores and shoe stores. By the time I left the mall, it was near five o'clock. I wnet to Ling's to get my nails and toes done. "What I do for you today ma'am?' the Chinese man asked me. "Just my toes and nails painted. As you can see, my nails are already long." He nodded his head. "Yes. You have very long nail." He grabbed my hands and started to file my nails. "Are you Quin's girl?" I looked at the girl sitting next to me. "Yes, I am." I told her with an attitude. "Hmm." She flipped her hair. "You ain't got yo self worth shit. I can have him whenever I wanna." I giggled a little. "You seem mad. Obviously you can't if I have em. You couldn't have been too good. And if he's not worth shit, why you worried bout am I his girl or not? Don't worry about me and mine. We good." I smiled at her before turning away. She said nothing else. The Chinese man winked at me, I winked back.
