You lay in bed pushing your face into your pillow trying to hide your flustered face. You turned yourself over to face the ceiling. You face was still red from for you couldn't stop thinking of what just happened.
"Alastor asked me out.....for a dinner date...?", you say with a voice that contains both excitement and confusion. "It's probably just a friendly request....", you chuckle with uncertainty.
Or maybe it's not. He indeed kissed me....b-but that doesn't mean anything. Right? The thoughts ran through your mind. You couldn't believe it. A-and the night after the sleepover was just a payback....that's what he said.
Your face just kept getting redder like a hot potato. You buried your face in your pillow once more out of embarrassment, even though there was no one around to see your emotional crisis.
A more intense thought crossed your mind. Something you hadn't thought was possible after your death.
What if.....just maybe......I....like him? This thought sent butterflies in your stomach. After dying you'd never been in a relationship and you didn't even remember what it felt like to be with someone. No wonder you'd be so confused. The thought of it scared you.
What if he makes a move on me? What will I do then? You couldn't stop your mind from doubting everything about this date. You raised your hand in the air and looked at it for a moment. As if you were reaching for the heaven you so despised. Maybe heaven wasn't so bad, at least you didn't have trouble with such confusing emotions up there.
"No! It's all in your head (y/n). Get a grip on yourself!", you sat up in bed and patted your cheeks to come back to reality.
You finally decide to scratch off all of you those pestering thoughts and just get ready for your date. You get out of bed and go take a shower. The feeling of warm water on your body helped you forget all those troubling emotions. It was relaxing how the water touched your soft cheeks and rolled down your bare back.
After your shower, you headed to your closet for something to wear tonight. It was sort of a special night. It was very hard to choose anything to wear and you couldn't wear anything casual as knowing Alastor, he was sure to take you to someplace classy. You finally pick out a red dress. It goes down to your knees, has short sleeves and is open at the back. You weren't really comfortable with your back being visible. But Angel was the one who insisted you bought it and you thought it'd be a waste not to wear at on such a perfect occasion.
