You wake up the next morning in a daze, unaware of how you got back to your room and what all had happened the night before after you passed out. All you could remember from the day before was feeling extremely awful before passing out next to Gavin. Now you were in your room. You figured you were brought back there as soon as you fainted.

You sat up in your bed, rubbing your temples as you tried to ease the nausiatic feeling you had. That's when your door suddenly opened and someone came in. It was Diane and she'd brought you some breakfast.

Seeing you had woken up she gave you a warm smile and said,"Goodmorning princess. How are you feeling today? Everyone was quite worried when you passed out yesterday."

You forced a smile on your face and replied,"Goodmorning Diane. Yes, I'm fine. I'm sorry for worrying you all."

"Well, all that matters is your okay now. Also I've brought you your breakfast.", She said with a sweet smile on her face.

She brought the tray of food to your bed and placed it in front of you. You looked down at the plate of food before you but felt like you'd lost your appetite. You had a hunch of what was happening to you, yet you didn't want to believe it. Though it was too obvious now, and you couldn't keep it to yourself anymore either. Diane had noticed the troubled look on your face and gently placed a hand on your shoulder, looking at you with her glassy hazel eyes.

"I-is anything the matter (y/n)? You know you can tell me anything, I'm here for you.", She said with reassurance.

You returned her gaze and just sat there wondering for a while, not sure if it was best to share your discovery. At last you decided it was best to tell her, someone had to know.

"No, it's not alright. There's something I need to tell you.", You told her, slight hesitation in your voice.

"I'm all ears.", She replied.

"It's....I-I.....I might....er...... there's a slight possibility.....that I might.....be...pregnant.", you said in a voice that was almost inaudible and filled with hesitance, but Diane heard it crystal clear.

She was at a lost of words, not sure how to react. She wanted to believe it was a joke but from the look on your face, she knew you weren't kidding.

"Y-your serious?....H-how? When? I-is that.....demon t-the...father?", She stuttered in disbelief.

All you did was nod at her while avoiding eye contact.

"So your telling me you did.....it with him!?", She was starting to get a bit tensed. "Why would you do that? Do you have any idea how cross the queen will be if she hears of this!?", She asked in frustration.

"W-well, technically......I was supposed to be married to him by now.....so I-I didn't t-think it would matter.", You said timidly.

Diane was clearly in shock. She just stared at you with a displeased look when you said that. She couldn't disagree with you either, you had a point. But she was also right about the queen being cross. For all you knew she could just eat you alive with this news. After all the strings she pulled to clear your name, the last thing she needed was her daughter carrying a demon's child. The thought of the fury your mother would unleash on you, sent shivers down your spine.

"Well, there isn't anything we can do now.............a-are you going to keep the child?", Diane asked you with a tone of worry.

You weren't sure how to reply to that. But one thing was for sure, you didn't want to give up the child. Because deep down, you knew you still longed for him. It didn't matter if he killed you or not, you just wanted to go back to him. To be reunited with him, stay with him, wrapped in his long slender armed yet comfortable embrace. You looked at Diane, your eyes seemed to portray all those emotions you were having right then.

"Yes.", You said with assurance. There was no need to say anything more. She understood.

"Very well.", She replied.

For a minute there was silence between you two. The suddenly Diane wrapped her arms around you, pulling you closer and holding you tightly.

"Whatever happens, know that I'm here for you. You never have to hide anything form me.", She whispered into your ears.

You didn't know why, but you were suddenly overcome with an incomprehensible feeling. You broke into tears. You couldn't help it as the warm tears just rolled down your cheeks, falling down and soaking your dress. Diane did nothing but just hold you tight as you cried onto her shoulder.

After a while your tears finally stopped. It felt relieving for some reason. As if those tears had been holding themselves back for centuries, and now, all those confusions were finally let go. You got out of Diane's embrace and wiped off your tears. She looked at you with a kind smile. That smile was all you needed to feels safe. At least you had her. But you still felt like something was off with everything that was going on. You remember what Gavin had said to you that day before you fainted. The thoughts kept echoing in your head. Diane noticed the sudden change of expression on your face.

"What's bothering you (y/n)?", She asked you, concerned.

You looked at her, snapping out of your thoughts. You wondered if you should tell her about your doubts. Remembering what she said right now, you knew she was in fact the only one you could trust. So collecting yourself, you decided you'll consult her.

"There's something that's been bothering me lately. I think it might help to get it off my chest.", You said calmly.

"Well, that's what you have a hand maiden for!", She said proudly.

You smiled weakly at her. "It's about the day I-.......I left hell. When I was talking to Sir Gavin I realised something. My mother said Alastor was the one who killed me. But it occured to me that she clearly had no way of knowing that for sure. A-and, I just feel horrible for what I've done.", You said with grief.

"What do you mean (y/n)?", Diane looked rather puzzled.

"I mean I left him Diane! I left him by the words of someone who I clearly never trusted as much before, someone who had no authority to make that claim. I left him there. On our wedding. For all I know, what mother said could have been a lie to get me back, and I bought it.", You felt tears welling up in your eyes again.

"Well you can't be sure of that. Think about it (y/n). Why would the queen of heaven lie to anyon-", Diane wasn't able to finish as you cut her off.

"But that's not all Diane. Ever since the day I left heaven, I've been having these strange.....visions.", you said quickly.

"Visions? Of what?", Diane was now intrigued.

"Visions that seem like.....memories. memories from my living life. B-but the strange thing is that I've had no recollection of these memories till now. And ever since then everything seems.......clearer.", you said.

"Clearer how?", Diane asked curiously.

" Like......you remember how I sometimes have certain opinions on things but can't recall how or why I like it so? Like some of my strange fetishes. Well I saw many of those fetiches my memories. And...........Alastor was with me. That's the other odd thing. You see Alastor was in each and everyone of these memories.", You said in realisation.

"That sounds rather queer. Almost seems as if someone had cast a memory wiping spell on you. Tell me, were these memories in any way forgettable?", Diane asked now filled with curiosity.

"Not at all. Almost all the memories were quite pleasant,.......maybe a bit too pleasant.", You blushed a bit at the last words as you recalled a few lovely memories.

Diane was far too consumed in the seriousness of the moment to notice you fantasising. She was thinking hard with her finger on her chin. Then at once she turned to face you, concern filled her eyes.

"(Y/n)......had you ever experienced such..... memories while in heaven?", She asked worriedly.

You shook your head in response. You knew you never had any such experiences. You were very sure of yourself too. The worried look on her face now only grew more concerned. She finally looked at you as if she was about to declare someone's death. Sure enough, what she said was equivalent to that.

"(Y/n), I think someone in heaven is spelling you."
