You cried so much your tears soaked the sheets. You sobbed into your pillow for you felt horrible for lying to everyone. They didn't deserve to be lied to. They were the only demons in hell who were nice to you but you broke their trust. In that moment you just wanted to disappear. You couldn't bare facing them anymore. You'd lied to some of the only friends who actually cared for you and this made you feel miserable.
You continued to cry into your pillow until your eyes could no longer shed tears. You lay in bed wondering what you were to do now. How would you fix this mess? It wasn't as simple as the other things you'd lied about. Now they knew that you were not only an exterminator angel, but also royalty. Things seemed bleak to you.
Meanwhile in the lobby
"(Y/n)'s a fucking princess?! How come she never told us?", Angel shouted at Michael while shaking him vigorously.
"C-could you p-please let me go?", Michael's voice was shaky and had a tinge of fear in it.
"Leave the fucking kid alone Angel. He's bout to break!", Husk said at an attempt to help poor old Mike out. He took a sip of his booze and tried to digest what all had gone down just now.
Vaggie was having a total breakdown in a corner, not because she found out about (y/n) being royalty, bit because of how carelessly shed reacted. The thought that her words might have hurt (y/n) made her feel sick. Charlie in the other hand was trying to comfort Vaggie. Being royalty herself she knew exactly why (y/n) had lied, but she didn't know how to explain this to the others. So she decided she'd stay out of it for she knew who really needed to talk to her.
Alastor was quietly standing in the lobby. He didn't speak a word and his face was looking down. His whole figure was shrouded in a sort of gloomy darkness. No one knew what was going on in his mind and no one dared pester him. He did not seem to be in a mood for a conversation of any sort.
Truth be told he wasn't mad that (y/n) had lied to him. In fact he'd always known that she wasn't telling the whole story. He knew there was more to those pretty lying (e/c) eyes of hers. What got to him was the fact that she was royalty. This meant she couldn't stay in hell even if she wanted to. She had to go back, and what was worse, he wouldn't be able to see her ever again.
Meanwhile, Michael wasn't handling being left alone in a room full of confused demons very well. He'd grown up hearing stories of how demons were horrible beings and how they were monsters, and Vaggie's little outbreak, crazed Angel and creepy Alastor in the corner weren't helping him get over those childhood fears.
Things finally settles amongst them after a few minutes and they were trying to figure out a way to approach you. That's when something suddenly snapped in Alastor and he just strode over to the stairs. The other were a bit confused when he suddenly walked away but they quickly began to follow him up the stairs.
Back to (y/n)'s room
You had finally stopped sobbing, or at least your tears were under control now. You rolled around in your bed, now sharing at the ceiling with your tear filled eyes. You could face your friends and were trying to figure out a way to solve this mess. You obviously weren't going back to heaven and now you couldn't face the demons.
Then a horrible thought struck you, what if Alastor knew all along and was just using you. He always did seem uncanny around you. He also found out about you being from the 1920's. So why not this? Not to mention he's already had a taste of your blood, whose to say that he was just pretending to love you just so he could use you.
The thought of it felt surreal to you, but there was a fair chance you were right. Why else would a heartless cannibalistic serial killer who you'd only known for a few weeks love you? As much as it hurt you, it did make sense.
As the terrible thoughts raced through your mind, you heard footsteps coming towards your room. You panicked and shot up in bed. You looked around your room for a place to hide but you knew that wouldn't be enough. So you ran out to the balcony and you pushed yourself against the railings and looked down, it was a long way down.
You heard someone knock on the door and realized you didn't have time to think this through. Ignoring the consequences, you spread out your wings and leapt into the air. Just then Alastor walked into your room, only to see flying out of the window.
Alastor rushed over to the balcony, calling out your name but he was too late, you were no where to be seen. He felt a deep sadness in his heart and a singular tear roll down his cheek. He wiped it off so no one would see and he walked back into the hotel.
You flew high into the night sky, a bit rusty because you hadn't flied in a while. You managed to balance yourself and hover in the air for a while. You looked down at nuzzling city below, the darkness had changed it entirely. It looked nothing like the place you knew from daytime. This wasn't so good for you as you couldn't tell where was what. Roaming the streets of hell at night wasn't safe so you went for the next best place.
There was a forest a little far away from the hotel, you'd once went there for a walk so you flew to there. You glided above the forest only to pause once you knew you'd come deep enough. You then landed in a clearing and looked around.
It was really quiet with only the sounds of a nearby river. Night time made the surroundings look eerie. You walked around a little looking for a place to spend the night when you suddenly heard rustling in the bushes. You turned around but nothing was there. You proceeded to walk in the opposite direction when you though you heard growling. You hesitated to turn around this time as you feared what could be there. You managed to muster up some courage and as you turned, you came face to face with a set of red glowing eyes.
You panicked a little but your feet wouldn't move. The eyes came closer but your body was stiff. The beast pounced from the bushes and your body finally let you flee from there. You ran as fast as you could into the forest, it was too congested with trees and so you couldn't fly out of there. The creature kept chasing you and you ran through the bushes and trees.
Suddenly you slipped and fell down, you thought the creature would get you but you'd slid away into some other place. You stayed there on the ground covered in dirt. It took you a while to get up. Once you were up on your feet you brushed some dirt off from your clothes. There were bruises on your knees and elbows.
The creature that chased you was no where in sight, so you decided to keep looking for a place to stay. You hoped to find some sort of a cave or something but you came across something even better. As you walked past a few trees you saw a giant mansion. It looked vintage, like from your time and it seemed like it was empty. You walked up to the door and knocked on it a few times, but no one answered. You knocked again but with no answers, you tried opening the door. Surprisingly, the door was open and you walked in.
"Hello? Anyone home?", you said feeling a bit uneasy.
The whole place was dark and creepy, non of the lights seemed to be working and there were no signs of life. It was dark and so you couldn't see very well. You went up the stairs and got into what seemed to be a guest room. Exhausted form all the shopping and the whole fiasco with Michael, you fell into the bed ignoring the fact that you were still covered in mud.
At this point you didn't care whose house it was or what you were going to do if someone found you. All you wanted to do was get some sleep and that's exactly what you did. You fell into a deep slumber and didn't even realize that it had begun to rain outside. The sound of rain trickling on the roof melted away as you slept peacefully.
