(A/n): don't play the song yet. Play the song at the bold letters. I really have no idea about 1920's music but I do like jazz and electro swing. I am new to it so I just found a song that sounded nice and......well, here we are.
______________________________________You'd fully recovered from your injuries and were now back to working in the hotel. Niffty had come across the forgotten basement recently and decided to reorganise it. It was a complete mess and there was a lot of stuff down there. So you offered to help her out with the heavy lifting since she wasn't that strong.
You two were down there in the quite dark basement moving around boxes and dusting the shelves. There were a lot of heavy boxes down there and you wondered what was in those.
"I need to get some more supplies. This place is messier than I'd expected. I'll be right back (y/n)!", Niffty shouted from the stairs that led out before leaving you.
You didn't even get a chance to reply and you didn't really like the idea of being alone in a dark and creepy room.
"Great! I'm all alone in this.....dark and....creepy basement. At least the lights are working..........for now.", you say nervously as you move a few boxes.
You remembered the first time you came down here when the hotel was still unopened to the public. You'd been curious as to what was down here and you came in alone. It was darker then because the lights were old and you accidentally locked yourself in. It was terrifying but not as terrifying as what happened next. You were franticly trying to open the door, when it finally did you came face to face with a terrifying multi-appendaged figure. The lighting made it so that the figure looked like a silhouette of a monster. A horrifying silhouette. But it turned out just to be Angel. Thought he even took the opportunity to scare you and you stumbled back on the stairs. You ended up spraining your ankle.
This time you were more used to his antiques and were prepared for any surprises. Or so you thought. You took a rather heavy box of the shelves and were checking what was inside. To your surprise you found a few old records form the 20's. You took one out and the feel of the vinyl on your hands was nostalgic to say the least. Since they weren't in use you decided to take them back to your room and keep them.
I'm sure Charlie wouldn't mind.
Coincidentally, you also found a gramophone in there. It was old and dusty, but still in good shape.
Guess its my lucky day! I can't wait to take these back to my room and test it out. You thought to yourself as you lifted the box of records and set them aside to take back later. As you did this, a record dropped out of the box. You picked it up and read the cover.
"Thinking of You", You read aloud and a smile immediately spread across your face.
It was one of your favourite songs from when you were alive. So forgetting what you were doing down there, you decide to play it. You set up the gramohone on top a box and blow off the dust. You carefully take the record out of the case and place it on in. You crank the lever and gently lower the needle with your finger's crossed, hoping it still worked.
Like a miracle, music starts playing from the gramophone. You can't help but jump up in joy. You listen to the song for a few Seconds and then stand up. Your body seems to be under some musical spell as you start moving your feet to the rhythm.
You sway around amongst the boxes for a while until you bump into the gramophone by accident and the music stops playing. As you move back from the Graham phone your back hits something else. It felt stiff but too soft for a wall. You froze and couldn't move a muscle from the fear. Even the music was canceled out of your hearing for a few seconds. You willed yourself to turn around but couldn't.
