Hiccup and Valka stared at and talked about the bewilderbeast king within the sanctuary. Toothless, letting anxiety get to him, decided to stay in the back and just watch them enjoy their reunion. After getting knocked off balance for a second, he saw his old savior's Night Fury turning to her master, who immediately started walking away.

"S-sorry... That's his way of saying 'I have somewhere to be or something to do, stay here' "

"Is it really?"

"...Was I that obvious?"

"No I was just asking a question, but now I know."

"Dammit... Well, they've... Never done that before."

Anxiety hitting the roof, Toothless tried to back away only to be tackled to the ground. Looking over again he saw a dark blur moving from the other Night Fury to a cliff, forming into her master and falling. Both of them looked away for a second.

"Well apparently neither of us are getting out of this, my name's Platinum."

"*nod nod* ..."

"...Generally when someone tells you their name you're supposed to do the same."

"O-oh uh... W-well, my name's Toothless."

"*chuckle* Sorry, I didn't think anyone had a name much more ironic than mine, 'cause of the eyes of course."

Pleasantly surprised he wasn't just staring into them for a while, Toothless began talking with her. After a little time, Hiccup had wandered off while letting the two talk as his mother tends to the wounded dragons. Being pulled aside by Stoick, followed by Gobber.

"Are you kidding me? How did you get in here?"

"Same way we're getting you out."

"Really!"

"All clear Stoick."

"OK, come"

"Uh dad there's something you need to know-"

"yeah yeah tell me on the way."

"Well this isn't an 'on the way' kind of update actually-"

"I've heard enough Hiccup."

"More of the earth shattering development variety-"

"Yeah just add it to the pile."

"Dad, unlike most surprises I spring on you this is one you'll like I promise, you just have to handle it delicately. Sooo."

"Uh, you may want to take this one chief...Oh boy" Gobber states walking away as Stoick draws his sword.

"Oh, uh dad, could you put the sword away? Please?" Hiccup pestered while Stoick finally dropped the blade.

"...I know what you're going to say, Stoick, 'how could I have done this?' stayed away all of these years and why didn't I come back to you, to our son. Well, what sign did I have that you could change Stoick? That anyone on Berk could? I pleaded so many times to stop the fighting, to find another answer but did any of you listen?"

"This is why I never married, this and one other reason."

"I know that I left you to raise Hiccup alone, but I thought he'd be better off without me, and I was wrong, I see that now but. Oh stop being so stoic Stoick, go on, shout! Scream! Say something!"

"You're as beautiful as the day I lost you."

Meanwhile...

"Why does he think Drago can be redeemed?"

"Because Hiccups too nice and doesn't know him."

"Now I think I know why you're so distant. This is an especially uncomfortable subject for you, isn't it?"

"What do you mean?"

"That's the first sentence you've said directly to me. Let's try something new, you were raised by mantis's right? But you're not really a killer or honor crazy person like they and the other Night Fury's they raise are, plus you must've had some friends, try remembering them for a little."

"...Zephyr, in Greek it means a soft or gentle wind, but in the mantis's language, it means hurricane. She was a twister of dual nails in battle. Growing up I was always looked down on by the other Night Fury's. If the tribe thinks a member is weak, the member isn't shunned or bullied, it's considered the clans responsibility to find something they enjoy and are talented at. But the Night Fury's weren't like them, I used to gag at the sight of blood and hesitate in fights, Zephyr was the one who always bandaged me up. My dad died before I was born and Zephyr used to ride my mom into battle against the massive ant colonies of Farloom's forest of bones. One day she didn't return and Zephyr was there with me when I got the news, the other dragons stopped picking on me after I was given my mom's silver bracelet, they knew who she was and why I had it now. Zephyr  always had another wild story of bravery and glory to tell me before bed, she taught me to fight and I finally toughened up. I helped in multiple battles when I got old enough, I still wasn't nearly as good as the ones who actually cared about the fight and honor. But the fact I could do anything was enough to get other dragons to like me, I was even willing to leave the bracelet at my mom's grave. But one day Zephyr's brother was the one to greet me after a victorious battle against one of the mega colonies, I know he saw the look in my eye's, he and his sister were never close. I ran away, I never wanted to fight again but I also knew how unrealistic that was, but I eventually met Hiccup... Could we maybe change the topic? How about how you met your master? And what exactly is It?"

"...I was considered the pretty one growing up. But I didn't want to just be 'the pretty one' So I learned to fight. Grimmel the grizzly Killed many Night Furyies in my area, including my parents. I wanted to get back at him, I knew he had drugged four dragons to obey him so I tried to scout his home, but the four dragons weren't there. I could smell blood from inside, when I opened the door there was the Pale Wanderer-"

"YOUR MASTER IS THE PALE WANDERER!!! *ahem* sorry."

"You're fine... It was standing there holding a skull, and just pocketed it as a trophy. There was blood all over the floor, I saw Grimmel's skin pinned to a wall with his own darts, the rest of his body was hung from the ceiling. I wasn't even scared of my master, just disappointed I didn't get there first. They stared at me, I think they knew how I felt and befriended me for being as determined as they were. I don't know why my master ripped Grimmel apart other than maybe because it considers Night Furyies as void siblings-"

*Rumble*

"Hate to ruin my backstory for you, but you felt that to right?"

"Yes... We need to find Hiccup, Valka, and the wanderer."

"This way, master helps Mrs. Haddock raid dragon hunter encampments and lets me camp here at night, I know where her room is."
