Olivia screamed violently waking herself up from her sleep, she panted gripping on to the sheet nearly crying from fear, she didn't realise she had fallen asleep last night, was the silhouette her nightmare again?
Was she delusional? Maybe she was going mad.
She took deep breaths, calming herself down as he mum would advice when she was little 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 she counted each breath in her head, biting her lip to hold back the tears she ripped the cover off of her body and unlocked her phone 6 am, she sighed rubbing the sleepiness from her eyes whilst yawning and stretching her body.
She walked down to the kitchen flicking on the switch for the kettle, pulling out a mug yawning continously...she never got up at 6 am. She poured the water in her mug, making herself some tea to calm her nerves, afterwards she padded unwillingly upstairs to get ready for school.
She didn't want to go especially after yesterday's events, at 8:00 am she was ready for school, she picked up her backpack swinging it over her shoulder and grabbing her key, as she opened the door, a police women in her mid 30's greeted her, about to knock.
"Hello, I'm officer Darcy, can I talk to you for a moment miss?" Olivia nodded positioning herself in front of the door, making the offer to come inside excusable since she was dressed in her school uniform. Ready to go.
"A murder happened around the woods, sometime in the afternoon yesterday, did you happen to see anything? Since you live around these parts?" Darcy the officer asked calmly and politely
"No, I walk up the hill, on the side of the road, and avoid the woods all together " she lied.
"Alright I'll not waste any more of your time, does your mum happen to be in?"
"No." she was slightly loosing her temper, she needed to get to school and she was wasting her time.
"Okay, if their is a murderer on the loose then I advice you keep all doors locked at night and stay away from the woods"
she nodded calmly as the police officer strolled to the car, exiting the drive slowly...Olivia sighed locking the door, before jogging her way to school down the hill, knowing she would have to take the road route this time. The longer route.
Olivia's mum had promised to get her a car for her 18th birthday, but that wasn't until a few months away, but she didn't mind she was always used to walking to school, however it made her late most of the time.
Grace was sat at the table at the back in chemistry with her goggles on and hair tied back writing down an experiment they had done, as soon as she walked into class and apologised to the teacher for being late, she glared daggers at her. She growled as she sat beside her, pulling out her pen, Olivia began to copy and write up in her book.
Grace slammed it shut
"Where was you, hm?" She grumbled looking at Olivia
"Some police officer came round, wanted to talk to me about some murder in the woods" she murmered quietly to her
Grace froze and her eyes widened slightly as her mouth made an o shape
"I knew them woods were bad." That's all Grace had said, Grace opened her book, letting her copy again. Olivia stayed quiet
'you have no idea' she thought, scribbling notes.
