"Oh god Olive if only I'd come sooner!" her mum whimpered in distress, squeezing her hand gently
"mum don't worry, I can't remember how this happened but I must of done something clumsy like...i don't know falling down the stairs or something..."
she attempted to comfort her but her mum continued to blame herself, Olivia had been in the hospital for around 3 days now, her mum had abandoned work and come to see me as soon as possible, she felt really guilty...and spent every night sleeping beside Olivia, as she woke up from screaming terrors and nightmares.
6 days later and Olivia was allowed to leave hospital, she never liked hospitals and couldn't wait to get out despite all the help from the doctors and nurses...
she jumped into her mum's car, her mum turned to Olivia abruptly
"I think I should quit work..." her mum's gaze led to the seat, not wanting to see Olivia's panic
"But mum why? No. It's a good job! you can't!-we won't be able to afford the big house we live in now!" She raised her voice, scared, she had lived there her whole life, the memories of her dad were still alive there...
"Olive we can move and buy a more affordable house" Olivia's mum was soft, trying to reason with her.
"No. Memories of dad and my life are in there, we're not moving mum..." her mum turned on the engine of the car driving out sighing softly
"we'll see, can you stay with Brandon in the mean time?" Her gaze locked on the road as Olivia sighed shrugging
"I'll stay with Grace for a while" then something clicked in Olivia...
SHE HAD FORGOTTEN ABOUT HER PASSED OUT AT THE HOUSE!
shit shit, she clenched her fist sweating and that's when the memories came back...
