Katy's P.O.V
The a few days later when we went to school everybody was talking about the dance that was in two weeks. Towards the end of second period Joel sat in between Daniel and I and passed me a note. I looked at him confused then he mouthed "Open it." I opened it and read. "Is anybody going to the dance with Jami?" I looked at him and smiled then I wrote back. "Nobody yet but I was thinking of asking her myself Ha ha." I handed it back to him laughing. He gave me a glare and scribbled. "Should I just ask her?" Then the bell rang. "Then ask her you big baby you just might be surprised." "What is that supposed to-." Then Joel shut up. I turned and saw Jami and Christi walking up to us. "Hey girls." I said "Hey" they replied. "Christi, Daniel and I need help with a project. Can you help us?" I asked. She looked at me confused and asked "Omg, what project? I need to start researching now an-." I cleared my throat to catch her attention then realized what I was trying to do. "Ohh okay I'll go." We started walking away then I turned around and said "Jami, Joel has something to ask you." I said with a wink.
Jami's P.O.V
When I saw Katy walking away with Christi I turned and asked Joel "What's up?" "Oh nothing. Dammit I'm really going to get Katy for this." "What happened Joel?" "Would you like to go to spring dance with me?" At that moment my heart was soaring! I simply nodded and smiled like an idiot.
Daniel's P.O.V
I was so relieved when Joel messaged me that Jami said yes. Now only if have the courage to ask Katy. I only have two more weeks left. Now that I think about it, we have gotten pretty close these past few days. I wonder when they are going to realize what is going on with everything that has occurred recently.
