"You're strong with the force, really strong."

Anakin ignites his lightsaber, followed by Jed, and Aayla takes a step back, holding her own weapon close to her body.

"Hang on, you're just gonna fight me?" She asks, fear wavering in her voice, the thought of taking on two heavily trained Jedi Padawan's making her shake, her anxiety racing through her body.

"Aayla, it's the only way you'll learn. You won't always be fighting one person." Anakin tells her, lowering his lightsaber, the weapon still ignited and humming in his hand. He looks the girl up and down, sensing nerves mixed in with something else.

"We'll go easy on you, and take it in turns. We will have to in order for you to pick up on essential skills." Jed tells her, taking a step towards her, his own lightsaber humming at his side.

Aayla takes in a deep breath, considering the situation. Yes, it was terrifying that two men, much stronger than herself, were planning to fight her head on with their own skills against her unskilled form. But, it was necessary for her to learn her saber skills and get that step closer to becoming a Jedi Knight, and being as strong and comfortable in the force as Jed and Anakin.

"Okay. But if I die, you're gonna have to tell Obi-Wan why." She tells them, smiling at herself given the looks of both men in front of her.

She chuckles, both Anakin and Jed exchanging awkward glances at the thought of having to tell their master why his daughter, why Aayla, was harmed or even killed during their training. Padmé let's out a small laugh at the two Jedi.

"Let's go then." Aayla laughs, taking a defensive stance and igniting her lightsaber, taking pleasure in the warmth it sent through her body, the comfort it gave her.

The two Padawan's in front of her shake themselves out of the panic, and Anakin looks to Jed for a signal that he's allowed to go first.

"Be my guest." Jed tells him, his lightsaber diminishing as he offers Anakin the floor. The Padawan smirks, and swings his lightsaber up, taking a defensive stance against the new Padawan.

Aayla sucks in a deep breath, gripping the handle of her saber tighter; anything for some stability against this man. The fact he was going first made her tremble, he already nerved her more then anyone, and now she was about to experience his strength and power. He terrified her.

"Don't be scared, I'll go easy on you." Anakin tells her, sensing her fear that he created. She paused, his words easing some of the tension. She had no reason to fear this boy, so why did she?

She collects herself as he swings at her, his saber cutting through the air effortlessly. Immediately, she brings her own up to deflect him, the two weapons crashing together, the sound echoing off of the terrace. Aayla feels Padmé jump.

She pushes Anakin back and swings at the boy, forcing whatever strength she had in her to try and defend herself against his trained abilities. Anakin swings back, but she ducks out of the way steps to the side.

Jed chuckles, watching the girl in front of him. She was making this tough for Anakin with very little effort, and it surprised them all. Padmé was now leaning closer, watching the girls attack and Anakin trying to defend himself.

The boy swings his lightsaber in his hand before running at her. Aayla matches his speed, their lightsabers coming closer together. Before they have a moment to clash, she uses her strength and pushes herself up and over Anakin, her body flying through the air before she spins around, landing softly on her feet and their lightsabers crashing together, Anakin having spun at the last moment.
