"Fear is a disease, hope is it's only cure."

From the moment Ahsoka had joined Anakin as his Padawan, and welcomed into the Jedi family by himself, Aayla, Jed and Padmé, their lives were far from boring.

Ahsoka was now a younger sister to the Jedi; Anakin and Aayla having such a strong bond with the girl having bonded with her from day one. It was rare to not see them all together in one place. And each looked out for one another, like family.

Teth and Tatooine were just the beginning. Following the return of Jabba's son to his father, and a treaty with the Hutt clan for permission to use the trading routes, the Jedi Generals, Commander and Padawan had already witnessed and experienced their fair share of the war.

R2 had gone missing, leading Anakin and Ahsoka to stage a rescue mission for him, whilst also destroying a Separatist listening post. Jed had witnessed Ahsoka's growth when they crashed on a neutral planet and helped defend the natives from the Separatists, all while Anakin was severely injured.

And now, they deserved a break.

Whilst Anakin and Ahsoka continue to bond as Master and Padawan, overseeing war transmissions from the Jedi Temple, Aayla and Jed run a training session for several Younglings.

This was something the girl loved most about being a Jedi Knight. Working with the children gave her an overwhelming feeling of joy; something she was struggling to feel during this war. The Younglings were young, innocent and were still growing, evolving to shape around the war.

She was able to see the life she could've lived, had she been brought to Coruscant as a child, and was able to influence these children to do good and become strong peacekeepers.

Though, they were slowly being groomed for the war. Some, if not most, of these Younglings would be picked as Padawan's in the near future; travelling through the galaxy with their masters as they partake in the Clone Wars. There was no escaping it. These children were to become soldiers, just like the Clones.

"Master Kenobi, how did you get that scar?" One of the Younglings interrupts the girl from her thoughts, and she looks down at the young boy with a smile.

"Cal, I'm not a Master. You know that. Aayla or Commander will do just fine." She tells him, her cheeks flushing red at the fact he had addressed her as something a lot higher than she was.

He looks up at her, frowning. Aayla could sense his strength with the force from a planet away. The red haired boy would become something great, she was sure of it. Soon, he would become a Padawan, but that meant he'd be thrown into the war.

"Sorry. How did you get that scar, Commander Aayla?" He asks again, and the girl looks around the room at the several other Jedi Younglings who had now drawn their attention to the boy and the Jedi.

Aayla looks over at Jed for help, the boy standing next to one of the Younglings, midway through helping them with their lightsaber combat. Instead of helping, however, he raises his eyebrow at her.

The moment she had returned from Tatooine, he had been there to welcome her home. His wound had healed nicely, and he was up and walking around like nothing had happened.

Much like Obi-Wan, Jed had been shocked to see the state of Aayla's face, instantly chastising Anakin for his lack of medical skills and crash for a landing. Obi-Wan, too, had thrown Anakin's name into the mix when discussing the wound on Aayla's head. The boy was not going to be clear from conversation about it for a while.
