"Don't get snippy with me!"

The communications table lights up with a hologram of the droid army, and its new shield generator. Obi-Wan, the Jedi Knights and new Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, crowd around it, with Captain Rex standing by.

"The shield generator is somewhere in this area, they're slowly increasing the diameter and keeping it just ahead of their troops." Obi-Wan informs them, detailing what he knew about the new shield.

R2 and Gibs join them around the table, the blue and black astromech rolling up to stand next to Aayla. She places her hand on its metal head, taking comfort in his being there.

"Heavy canons are going to be useless against that." Rex informs the man, and Aayla hums in agreement. The Clone looks at her, nodding with her.

"As they get closer I suppose we could try to draw them into the buildings. That might level the playing field a bit." Obi-Wan bends down and points at the tall buildings in the hologram map.

Ahsoka walks around Rex and the Jedi to stand between her new Master and them. Aayla could sense her focus, her mind reeling with thoughts about this mission and the new problems rising.

"If that shield's gonna be such a problem, why don't we just take it out?" She asks, looking at Obi-Wan, the man just at her eye level now.

"Easier said than done." Rex says gravely. The man had a point. Getting through that shield to disable it could be a suicide mission. No amount of troops could get through without suffering heavy losses.

"Well, I, for one...," Anakin interjects, coughing to hide his next words.

"Agree with her. Someone has to get to that shield generator and destroy it. That's the key." He says, and Jed smirks at the boys words. Ahsoka looks at her new Master, surprised at his words.

Anakin may not have wanted a Padawan, but he sure was doing a good job at getting along with her. Perhaps this was a good decision.

"Right then. Maybe you two can tip-toe beyond the enemy lines and solve this particular problem, together." Obi-Wan says slowly, looking at his former Padawan and the young girl.

Aayla hums with glee; they were all doing a very good job of taking the mickey out of Anakin and his lack of desire of working with a Padawan.

"Can do, Master Kenobi." Ahsoka says, passionately. Anakin looks down at the girl with aggravation.

"I'll decide what we do." He bends forward to be at the level with her, but Ahsoka just turns away, listening to Obi-Wan's next words.

"If Rex, Aayla, Jeddak and I can engage them here, you two might have a chance to get through their lines, undetected, here." The Master says, pointing at the enemy lines and where they would engage the enemy so that Anakin and Ahsoka have a good chance at taking down the shield generator.

Aayla and Jed lean forward, assessing the tactics on the map.

"They won't have much time. The droids far outnumber us. So our ability to street fight is limited without the use of heavy canons. They'll march forward under the protection of their shield, until they are right on top of our canons. And then they'll blow them away." Rex explains, looking down at the hologram with a grave expression.
