A Special Girl
The Avengers were in danger and they needed to lay low for awhile. So Nick Fury took them to a safe house only he knows about. The whole time they are on their way all Nick could think about was Y/N.
She was the woman who lives at the safe house and has been there since she was 16. She had no way to leave because of the protective fence he put up.
His nerves were noticeable the team could see it. They all knew Fury well enough to realize something was wrong. Not wanting to ask why they all kept quiet.
Hours later they arrived at this farm house that was shaped more like a mansion. Then they noticed a girl and a woman underneath it.
"Where the hell are we and can I have her?" Tony says.
Fury didnt even say anything to that comment because he was forced on the pissed woman coming there way. Fury was the first one out of the car and the girl punched him.
"I guess I deserved that. Y/N Im sorry." Nick says.
"Sorry! Your sorry! You drove me here and left me alone since I was 16! So you cant be sorry." Y/N says.
"Listen..." Nick says.
"No dad I dont want to listen. Why are you here?" Y/N asks.
"We need a place to hide out. Please I know you hate me, but my team doesnt deserve to be pushed into danger." Nick says.
"Fine." Y/N says.
As much as she hated her own father for ditching her she knew these other people did not deserve bad hospitality. She lead them all in to her home and watched as they looked around.
"Nice place." Nat says.
"Thanks. Okay look I only have 5 rooms cleaned out and one is mine. So you will have to share except one of you." Y/N says.
"I go with Nat." Clint says.
"I guess Banner and I can share." Thor says.
"Im not sharing. So Stark, Rogers you two can share a room." Nick says. (Sorry I just love Stony)
"Great. Follow me." Y/N says.
Showing them all to the rooms for the night and they staid there all night. The next morning Y/N had made them breakfast. As they eat they wondered where the woman was when they looked outside she was calming a wild mustang.
They went out and watched her more as the house easily went to her and was calm. Then they saw her place her hand on a patch of dirt where some carrots were to grow. One touch of her hand and they did.
"How did she do that?" Bruce asks.
"Powers obviously." Tony says.
"I get that, but where did they come from?" Bruce asks.
"Many people were trying to recreate the serum that made Rogers. You should know that Banner. Anyway SHIELD, was trying to as well. Y/N was asked to be injected and I told her not too, but she was the only one they wanted to because of her kind and gentle nature. Although there was an accident." Nick says.
"An Accident?" Steve asks.
"Yeah. You see this guy carried his rat everywhere and the rat got spooked by the noise. It knocked over some chemicals into the mixture, but we didnt know it until we checked the cameras. Anyway the chemical changed it and gave her powers nature. So talking with animals and growing plants became her gift." Nick says.
"Then why is she here?" Bruce asks.
Nick didnt want to answer that question because he knew his answer would make no sense to them. Cause really it made no sense to him.
"Im here because he was afraid I would hurt someone. I was 16 with these powers and didnt know how to use them. Instead of helping me he knocked me out, drove me here, and never came back." Y/N says.
Fury hated himself for that and he went inside. Y/N went to do her daily work when she same Bruce Banner running off into the woods. She knew what that must mean. He had transformed into the Hulk somehow.
"Did you see Banner?" Steve asks.
"Yeah what happened? Doesnt he have control?" Y/N asks.
"Yeah, but after the latest attack sometimes the Hulk breaks free. Thats why we needed to hide. To help him." Steve says.
He left her and went to talk to the team to help control the Hulk, but Y/N went after him alone.
"Hey." Y/N says to the green monster.
"Go way." Hulk says.
"Its okay big guy. I wont hurt you. Can I touch your hand?" Y/N asks.
Y/N was used to monsters who were afraid of themselves. At one point she was one. She reached out her hand and he leaned his hand down.
She gently ran her hand over his never letting go of eye contact. The Hulk then calmed down and held her small hand. It didnt take longer after that for Bruce to take control and come back.
"Thank you... Umm... I have no clothes." Bruce says from the bush.
"Here." Y/N says handed him a towel.
"Thanks." Bruce says placing it on his waist.
He looked at the girl before him and knew she was the one thing he needed to help him. She could help him by calming the Hulk and thats just what she got to do. Finally back in civilization, with new friends, her dad, and a big green monster who needs her, plus the cute doctor that came with. Y/N was finally home.
