Thinking of You
Steve wasnt a man who would tell a woman he liked that he liked her. So it only made sense that he didnt tell the woman he loved that he loved her.
The whole team knew his feelings they were as clear as day. Steve was pining and looked at her with so much love in his eyes. He even followed her around like a lost puppy.
Y/N however was clueless she thought he was doing all this because he was her friend and nothing more which hurt her. Because she loved him too, but she kept it to herself.
Then when Y/N saw Steve hugging Sharon right before they left for a mission her heart sank. She had to watch Sharon kiss Steve and she wanted to cry and run away, but he wasnt hers so she couldnt act like she cared.
On the missions normally Steve assigned himself with Y/N and that was to keep her safe, but she wasnt going to go with him.
"I'll go around back with Bucky." Y/N says.
Steve was thrown off by her saying that and watched in anger as she pulled Bucky by his hand.
Durning the fight Y/N purposefully was saying flirty things to Bucky and about his fighting. This angered Steve to the point he wanted to throw his shield at his best friend.
Steve was so lost in the darkness of jealousy he didnt see the others coming for him. Y/N saw this and took the hit for him as Bucky killed the guy.
"Y/N!" Steve yelled.
"Ow that hurt." Y/N says.
Bucky went to help her up and Steve shoved him away. Bucky saw the anger and jealousy in his friend's eyes and started laughing to himself.
"Shut up. Go help the others. I'll take her to the jet." Steve says.
Bucky left them as Steve got Y/N to the jet. He kept guard so no one could come for Y/N.
"Im fine you know. It grazed me. No harm to foul." Y/N says.
"You need to be checked out. Besides you didnt have to do that for me. What the hell where you thinking?" Steve questions.
"I was thinking that you were about to get hit and someone had to help you. I didnt want you to get hurt. I was protecting my friend." Y/N says.
"Friend! A friend! Why am I just a friend Y/N! Is it because you like Bucky?" Steve questions.
"What?" Y/N questions.
"Then why did you go off with him? Why were you saying those things to him? You always come with me and say all that to me. Not him. I hate that I am in love with you and you went with him. It killed me and so I wasnt thinking and you got hurt. It was my stupid fault." Steve says.
"Wait... What? You love me? Then why did you kiss Sharon?" Y/N questions.
"Yes I love you and Sharon kissed me. I didnt even move. I didnt know what to do. But I do know that I love you." Steve says.
"I love you too." Y/N says.
Steve pulled her into a kiss. When they pulled away he kissed her head as she rested her head on his chest.
"So Doll, Would you want to be my girl?" Steve asks.
"I'd love that. There is no one else I'd rather be with." Y/N says and kisses him again.
"So you dont like Bucky?" Steve questions.
"As a friend and teammate, yes. Anything more, no eww, gross." Y/N says.
"I agree with everything you just said. Bucky is gross." Steve says kisses her head again.
