Y/N loved Bucky one hundred percent, but she always had bad nightmares. Like how Bucky leaves her or like Bucky dies.
Tonight was another where Y/N was having a nightmare.
She was in the middle of a battle ana everything was falling apart. She was trying her hardest to fight them off. Each time she was successful someone else got hurt.
First one down was Wanda, followed by Steve, Clint, Tony, and Nat.
"Buck where are you? Our friends are hurt." Y/N says.
"Y/N!" Bucky yells.
She ran towards his voice and he was on the ground with a blood of blood around him.
"No. Bucky... Your okay." Y/N says crying.
"No Im not. Im dying and its all your fault." Bucky says.
"No. I didnt... I couldnt..." Y/N says.
Bucky had stopped breathing and Y/N cried on his chest.
"Way to go Y/N." Nat says.
"You killed him." Tony says.
"And you call yourself a hero? Well we dont. Not anymore." Steve says.
"No! No! I didnt kill him! I didnt!" Y/N screamed.
She was screaming in her sleep and Bucky had to gently wake her.
"Baby. Wake up. Its okay." Bucky says.
"No. No its not. You died and it was all my fault." Y/N says.
"Hey. Im here, Im not gonna leave you." Bucky says and pulls her into his chest.
"But it felt so real. What if that happens? I cant lose you." Y/N says.
"My sweet girl you wont. Im here for you. Im not going anywhere." Bucky says kissing her forehead.
He held her close and didnt dare to let her go. She was gonna be safe in his arms and he wasnt gonna leave. He knew that and just holding her was proof enough.
