Shouldnt Fall
Way before he got into working for SHIELD Nick had an idea to have a child. He decided to adopt and got a beautiful baby girl he named Y/N.
He then joined SHIELD and he did everything he can to protect his daughter. Over 18 years later Y/N was an agent and was one of the best. Nick was more then proud of his daughter.
He gave her a team to be apart of and that was a team with Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton. When the Avengers were formed Nick made a choice to give his daughter a spot not because he was her dad, but because he saw her potential.
As they fought Loki, Y/N was injured very badly.
"Y/N! God she's hit." Clint says going over to her.
"Clint it hurts." Y/N says.
"Hang on sweetheart helps coming." Clint says.
Y/N was scared to death, but not as scared as Clint was. Help came and Y/N wad taken away from Clint. The fight was finished and the group came to the hospital.
"How is she?" Nat asks.
"She's being stitched up as we speak." Nick says.
Clint was pacing around and he was freaking out over his friend being hurt. The reaction of Clint's made everyone see something else. His reaction wasnt of a friend.
"Please be okay. Please be okay." Clint says.
They waited for awhile and then they got feed back and they were told Y/N was going to be fine.
"Why dont you go see her." Nat says.
"Cause she wouldnt want to see me. I failed. She got hit because of me." Clint says.
The others were telling him otherwise and he just felt so bad. What if he had lost her? It would have been his fault.
"Barton, she wants to see you." Maria says.
Clint walked over to Y/N's room and heard her and her dad arguing
"You cant Y/N. I have made my decision." Nick says.
"But I love him and you cant decide this for me." Y/N says.
Clint knocked on the door and they stopped talking. Nick opened the door and he didnt look to happy, but Y/N looked happy.
"Hey." Clint says.
"Hey." Y/N says.
"Maria said you want to see me." Clint says.
"I do. Dad can you give us a moment please." Y/N says.
Nick mumbled something to himself and left the room. Clint sat beside her bed and she reached out and grabbed her hand.
"Im so sorry this is all my fault. Y/N I never meant to hurt you." Clint says.
"Clint its okay. Its not your fault. I wanted to see you because..." Y/N says.
"I love you." Clint blurts out.
Y/N pulled his hand and made him come over to her and she kissed him.
"I love you too Clint." Y/N says.
They both knew they shoudnt have fallin in love with one another because they are best friends. But they fell in love and that love will last forever.
