Mark realized he was liking Donghyuck more than a friend when they were talking one night, while Mark was alone in his room.

Mark Lee liked the "fuck everyone" attitude of Donghyuck. He admired the bravery of the younger. He wished he had that same bravery too.
If Mark admitted he liked Donghyuck more than a friend, he was scared of the outcome. It was drilled into his head ever since he was little that only men and women could be together. Those who were with the same sex would go to hell.
Mark felt himself tearing up. What he was thinking about Donghyuck was wrong and disgusting. He is disgusting for wanting Donghyuck. He is going to hell. Mark felt a teardrop fall onto his face.
