Luna's POV
Today, I had woken up a bit earlier than I normally do. So I decided to take a walk to my favorite diner down the street from my house. I changed into some leggings and one my friends merch. I grabbed my things and made my way to the my front door. I slipped on some shoes before walking out of my house. Locking my door in the process. The sun showing, creating a nice purple color sky. I stuffed my hands into my pockets and began walking. I passed by a few of my neighbors, exchanging small conversations. As I got closer to the diner, I could smell breakfast being cooked. I smiled to myself and observed my surroundings. This walk wasn't a long one, maybe a 15 minute walk. I spotted the diner a few feet away from my current location. When I arrived at the diner, I instantly went to my favorite table. Every time I had come to this place, I always sat at the same table. I come here so often that I have a breakfast special name after me. Lorelei, the waitress came over to me and I placed my drink order. She didn't even have to ask what I am getting, I always get my usual. I placed my phone down on the table, watching the cars the drive past the diner window. "Here love" Lorelei said placing my coffee on the table. I smiled and looked up at her, "thanks Lorelei" I replied. She smiled and walked back over to the counter. I decided to go on my phone, liking a few posts here and there. Lately I have been ignoring my friends, really didn't feel like be around anyone. "Hey, is this seat taken?" A brunette asked me. I smiled at her, "nope, all yours" I replied. She returned the smile and sat across from me. "My name is Kyra" she said holding her hand out. I smiled and shook her hand. "I'm Luna" I replied. She smiled and then she began to talk. It was like we had been friends for years, we instantly clicked. "Yeah and so my boyfriend and his friend ended up dying my hair for his YouTube video" she said to me, I began to laugh. "That's crazy!" I replied. She laughed and nodded her head. We have been talking for almost an hour. She would occasionally check her phone, replying back to someone. "So I'm doing a shoot in an hour, the need one extra girl. You down do to it?" She asked me. I looked at her, completely shocked. "Umm I mean sure, I don't have anything to do today" I replied. She smiled and clapped, "nice! We should head over there so they could your size" she said. I nodded my head and left a $15 tip and we paid for our breakfast. I said bye to Lorelei and we walked over to her car. Considering I had walked from my house. Throughout the car ride, we got to know each other better. We pulled up to this studio, I followed her to the entrance. When we walked in, it was this huge open area, with different themed stations. "Rick, this is my friend Luna. Luna this is Rick, the photographer" Kyra said. I shook his head and that's when he told us to get ready. I followed Kyra to another room, the dressing room. While she was getting her hair and makeup done, I was getting my sizes in the outfits. The outfits I was going to be in, looked really cute. Kind of on the retro side. When she was finished, it was my turn for hair and makeup. Not once have I even been on my phone, I really didn't even care for it. "You are naturally beautiful!" The makeup artist said, I smiled and thanked her. The hairdresser decided to fix my natural curls and add some product into it. He didn't want to do any damage to it. "Your curls are so pretty" he exclaimed as he ran his hand through them. I smiled, "thank you, they're a pain to take care of though" I replied. He laughed and nodded his head. "And you're done" the makeup artist said to me as she examined her work. I smiled and thanked them both. Quickly giving them a hug before running off to change. "She's so nice" I heard one of the same as I walked away. When I grabbed the outfit, I quickly changed. Admiring how the shirt hugged my frame. I took a deep breath before walking out of the changing room. I heard a gasp, "wow I wish I looked that good in normal clothing" the hairdresser said. I learned that his name was Ian. And the makeup artists name is Kyla. They continued to compliment me as I added the jewelry. They gave me a hug before telling to me to go out. I made my way over to the photographer, watching Kyra work her magic. When she was done, she quickly took a look at the pictures. "Ok hun, your turn" the photographer said to me. I nodded my head and he told me what poses to do, what facial expressions to do. Then the last few minutes, he told me and Kyra just go have fun. So that's what we did, we laughed and did more poses with each other. After we changed out of the outfits and back into our clothes, Kyra and I went back to her car. "That was so much fun!" I said to her. "You're a natural at modeling!" She said to me. I laughed, "oh please" I replied. She continued to tell me to consider becoming a model. I told her I would think about it. "Wanna go for sushi? Dinner on me" she said. I smiled "You read my mind" I said to her. She smiled and drove to her favorite sushi restaurant. We got there, she got an email from the photographer. "Hey Rick sent me the pictures from today. He said he sent yours to your email." She said to me as we walked into the restaurant. I felt a wave of excitement run through me. I pulled out my phone and went to my email. And there it was, I clicked on the pictures debating on which to post. "Which one should I post?" I asked Kyra. She looked over my shoulder and watched as I scrolled through them. "That one! You look hawt!" H A W T" she said. I laughed and went to the Instagram app. When we sat down at a table, we ordered our drinks. "Thanks for today. It was nice to not feel like crap" I said to her. She smiled, "no problem, it was fun today!" She replied. Kyra and I ordered our meals and began to talk. "Oh my god, are you Luna?" A girl asked me. I smiled, "that's me" I answered. "Can I get a picture with you?" She asked, I smiled at her. "Of course!" I said to her. Her mom had take a couple pictures of us. "Thank you. You are even prettier in real life" she said to me. I smiled and blushed a little. "So are you!" I replied. She gave me hug and walked away with her mom. "I didn't know you have fans" Kyra said to me. I smiled, "well my ex was in a band and that's how I gained a small fan base" I answered. She smiled and nodded her head.
