Zion's POV
"So are y'all gonna answer me? When did my ex and best friend start whatever they are?" I asked my friends. I heard Edwin scoff and look away. "Really Z? They aren't doing anything. He can even tell you." Nick stated. I didn't know what to believe. "Why do you even care?" Austin said sitting down next to Edwin. "You're the one who broke her" Edwin mumbled. I walked closer to them, "have something to say Ed?" I asked. I was feeling betrayed. "I said, you're the one who broke her. So why the hell do you even care?" He said looking up at me. "What the fuck are you talking about?" I asked. The boys looked at each other. "Dude! You texted Luna saying you didn't want to have contact with her anymore." Austin yelled. What is he talking about? "I didn't text her shit. One day she just stopped talking to me" I replied. I was so fucking confused. What text are they talking about? "Don't act dumb Zion. You sent Luna a text. Saying she ruined your life and you wanted her to leave you the hell alone." Edwin said standing up. The boys continued to argue with one another as Brandon walked in. Watching this all go down. "Why are you guys yelling?!" Brandon yelled over the boys. Cutting their yelling off, making the house go silent. They boys continued to avoid looking at each other. "Well is anyone going to tell me what the hell is going on?" Brandon asked, throwing his arms open. "Zion thinks that you're trying to get with Luna" Austin nonchalantly said. I shot glares at Austin for saying that. I mean when he said it, it sounds dumb but that's my ex. The best me I thought I'd be with for the rest of my life. "Seriously? There isn't anything between us. It's just a brother-sister relationship. Plus why do you care? No offense but you didn't want Luna. Your texts made that very clear." Brandon said walking past me. What fucking text are they talking about. "I'm out of here. I'm going for a walk" I said walking out of the house. I didn't bother stay to hear them out. I needed answers and there is only one place I can get them. As much as this would be bad, I needed to talk to Luna. She lived about 15-20 minutes away from the house. Maybe she would let me know what I supposedly had sent her. What the hell happened? We were fine one moment and the next we are strangers. I love Luna but I'm dating Mya who is also carrying my child. It was dark out now, the street lights barely lit up the neighborhood. A few cars had drove past me. It was a beautiful night if I'm being honest. It reminds me of those nights where Luna and I would sit on the roof of her house and watch night sky. I find myself thinking back to when it was just her and I. Shit, I catch myself comparing Mya to Luna all the time. It's fucking shitty for me to do that but it happens. I think I will always compare the next women to Luna. Maybe it's because she had been my first real love. She set the bar real high, my expectations are set high. Only Luna would be able to reach. A car horn shook me out of my thoughts, I looked up and seen that I was standing next to Luna's truck. My eyes flicked over to the left of me, there stood her house. I smiled to myself, thinking of the night we shared in front of her front door. It was date night, half way through our date, it started to pour. Causing our date to come to an end, we packed up our things and left the spot we found. I remember thinking I had messed up real bad but when we got to my car, she laughed. Saying that was the most fun she had in a while. We drove around through the city, watching the rain pour down, making the windows blur everything in sight. When it was getting late, I walked her to her door. I remember staring down at her and I don't know what gave me the courage to kiss her. But I did and it was amazing. I took a deep breath and walked to her door. I heard the sound of her voice come through the door. She was singing, I didn't recognize the lyrics so it must be an original. Before I was about to knock, I heard scratching on the other side of the door. "Ollie, stop scratching the door. The relator won't like that!" I heard her yell. What is she talking about? I knocked on her door. The anticipation was killing me. Maybe this was a mistake. I could definitely make a run for it. As I was about to turn around, the door opened. "Hell- Zion?" I heard. I turned around and was face to face with my ex lover. "What are you doing here?" She asked, bringing her door closer to her. She looked down by her legs. There was Ollie, he started growling at me. Making me nervous. "Ollie, no" Luna said sternly. I watched as Ollie looked up at Luna then back to me. I guess he doesn't like me anymore. "Ollie, go to the living room." She said making Ollie walk away. "Can I come in?" I asked her, I saw the hesitation in her eyes.
