Bruce P.O.V.
Ra's and Jeremiah's men had captured Olivia and me. Olivia had resisted, making Jeremiah slam the back of his gun on her head.
The men had placed a bag on my head and led me to what seemed an abandoned building. Once they stopped, they took the bag off. Jeremiah was carrying Olivia's body bridal-style, her head shaking when he walked.
He walked forward to look out the window, parallel to another man. Ra's al Guhl turned around to look at me.
"How did you two.." Ra's was quick to interrupt me.
"Find each other?" The men holding me started walking forward. "I'd like to think it was you, Bruce." Ra's started walking towards me. "You brought us together." Ra's turned towards Jeremiah. "I trust things went smoothly."
Jeremiah turned around, revealing my unconscious friend.
Olivia and I met when we were young.
Flashback
Alfred and I were in the G.C.P.D, waiting for Jim Gordon to upgrade us on my parent's murder.
Jim entered running with a beat-up girl holding his shoulder. I recognized her as Olivia Maroni, a girl that was always present in the Wayne Enterprises galas.
Alfred ran towards Jim, helping him with taking her to the infirmary.
When I had seen her at the galas, she looked elegant, her hair done to perfection and her face flawless. Now, blood was staining her clothes.
I followed both of them, watching as they placed her on the bed. "Olivia, this is the second time this has happened this month. Why are you a constant target?" Olivia looked up at Jim and smiled, then winced.
"You know Falcone, always chasing smart and pretty girls." She was the only one laughing at her joke. Alfred looked worried at the young woman.
"Miss Maroni, we met once, but you might not remember me. I'm Alfred Pennyworth." Olivia moved her head up, Ed working on her cheekbone.
"Of course I remember you. You are Wayne's butler. The only person with interesting stories to tell." Alfred nodded slowly. "Is Bruce near, I would like to give my condolences."
I walked forward to be in the woman's sight. "I'm Bruce Wayne, Miss." Ed pulled her head down gently to aid the lip.
"I remember you. I'm sorry about your parents. I'm an orphan just like you. If you need to talk to someone, I'm here. If I'm not here, call Jim. That means Falcone has me." Jim didn't look pleased with the carefree attitude.
"Olivia, each time we find you, you look worse. You need to be careful and take this seriously." Ed grabbed some tape to stitch the wound on her cheek.
"I'm sorry Jim. You are right. I'll tell you everything privately." Jim nodded. Ed patted her back signaling he was done. "Thanks, Ed."
When Olivia passed me, she gave me an emerald business card. "Call me if you need to talk about anything."
End of Flashback
"Like clockwork. You expect a pregnant woman to be calm and slow, but this one made a scene. I easily took care of that." He looked at the calm face Olivia had as if she hadn't been knocked out by her husband. I felt my anger boil. I knew Olivia's life hadn't been easy. She didn't deserve this. "Did you retrieve the bombs?"
"They are en route to their positions as we speak." Ra's grabbed my elbow. "From here we can take the full majesty of Gotham's destruction." I saw Olivia open an eye. She looked as if telling me to not give her cover away.
