After stitching Jeremiah, as painfully as possible, Ecco dismissed me to check on the twins. Both boys were still playing together, a woman clad in grey watching them.

"You are excused." She didn't move away from the door, her face covered by the hood over her head. I stared at her with risen eyebrows, waiting for her to leave the room.

"Oliva, you are dumb as you are ugly." She stood up from the wall she was leaning on, walking in my direction. "That, or your brain has been seriously damaged." She stood in front of me and took the hood off.

"Selina?" She smirked.

"No, it's your grandma." I hugged her. I was proud of her for stabbing Jeremiah. He had been more than a prick to all of Gotham. When we pulled away, I gave her a half-smile.

"If you had met my Nonna, I assure you wouldn't joke about her like that. She would have hit you with her rolling pin." Selina laughed lightly with me.

"So, these are your sons?" We both turned around to look at my two boys. Jason was playing with his blue toy car. Jacob was trying to fit his fist inside his mouth.

"Today isn't their best day, but yeah." Jacob's fist left his mouth and started saying oh no, I looked at him with a small smile, turning to look at Selina. "As I said, not the best day for them to meet new people. They usually give very good first impressions." Selina smiled gently.

"They're cute." I gave her a knowing look. "You know, for being your sons and all." Selina shrugged it off, embarrassed for showing affection towards two babies.

"Are you here to help us escape, or for me to invite you for some tea?" Selina shrugged, a sarcastic smile adorning her features.

"Do you have any chamomile?"

...

"Nice place." We had bee able to leave the place Jeremiah had locked us in. Jason and Jacob were happy to be back in their room and to have my full attention again.

"We're not staying, we're going to the G.C.P.D. to tell Jim I'm back." Selina looked tired, so I decided to let her stay with the twins in the apartment.

It felt nice to be free again, but the feeling of dread wouldn't leave my stomach. I had been intimate with Jeremiah three times, with no protection nor precaution. It was too early to have any morning sickness, but I made a mental note to be aware of any nausea.

The doors of the police station seemed welcoming. I walked in to find the usual havoc. Harvey was standing on the flight of stairs, making himself heard.

"We need to find Olivia Maroni and her kids. I don't care how long you've been looking. Look harder!" Half of the police officers were looking down to the ground in embarrassment. The station was silent for some time, making me make my presence known.

"What if she has found herself!" Harvey still didn' look at me, he was more occupied cursing at the ground. Once he turned his head at me. His face became white.

"Olivia." His eyes were almost going to pop out of his skull.

"No, it's your grandma." I laughed alone at the small joke. Out of nowhere, Bruce tackled me in a brotherly hug.

"Hey, Bruce!" My arms were around his neck. His face deep into my shoulder.

"We thought he had gotten a hold of you." We pulled away and I smiled softly at him.

"Well, he sorta did." He pulled back to stare at my features.

"Did he do anything?" I shrugged.
