Weavers pov 7 months after joining Manhattan New York I followed Sandman in and checked left before we heard a crack of an Ak to our right and saw the collapsed floor turning into a ramp with 3 soldiers at the top firing down at us, i shouldered my M4 and squeezed the trigger as Maverick and Sandman fired and the Russians dropped like rocks. We quickly pushed up to their position and saw nothing until a hind passed the building causing me to pause and watch it pass

before moving to the corner noticing a crashed Hind in the apartment and 2 enemies a floor above us, I sighed "Always with the high ground?" As Twitch and Frost dropped them "Oh you didn't hear? They all went to the obi wan school of combat" I looked back at him "how did you become a delta operator?" He shrugged "luck" as we walked on the bit of floor infront of the hind, I stared at it as we passed until I heard Twitch "I never thought I'd see one up close" I shook my head "me either"

before we fell quiet and more enemies came around the corner. I crouched behind a small dresser and fired, sandman peaked around and squeezed a burst before a round impacted the corner beam next to his face causing him to fall at the sudden shock and press his hand against his face as Maverick peaked and hit the soldier. Valkyrie crouched infront of him as we saw blood "Sandman let me see, let me see" he moved his hand and we saw a gash on his cheek Frost spoke "you'll get even more women at bars with that. come on, up you go" we moved forward and saw a dark hallway, "as much as I want to drone it, we don't have the time" sandman nodded as Twitch spoke "well we have to make progress" I sighed as I came around the corner and silently moved through the dark corridor "clear!" Everyone came jogging up as we opened a door to a stairway and Sandman spoke as we moved down it "everyone tighten up" I checked my wrist mount "Still on schedule, Maintain timeline, we have to hit the exchange" we crouched and braced as the building shook and dust erupted from the walls and ceiling. I was 3rd in line behind Frost and Sandman when sandman turned "multiple voices, alley behind the door. Frost, toss a nine-banger" he prepped the grenade as Sandman got ready to push the door Frost nodded and sandman shoved making the door open quietly as the nine-banger flew into the alley. We moved in when we heard the flashes and saw 3 or 4 enemies stumbling around holding their eyes as Maverick, Sandman, Frost and I fired dropping each target with deadly efficiency I spoke "imagine training for years to invade America just to get taken out because you wouldn't close your eyes" the team chuckled as Truck spoke "this route should take us back onto Wall Street. Jammers not far" I nodded as Kapkan spoke "watch doors and windows - double check the shadows" as we moved up the staircase Grinch asked "truck you getting anything on your comms?" He replied "nothing but static, jammers got us in the dark" I tried mine and all but ripped off my headset at the static "mine's fried too, god damnit" we moved through the open door to the Second story of the story and sandman froze whisper yelling "hold up! Quiet!" As we all stopped until Valkyrie tossed one of her cameras "shit, it's even fucking my cameras" I sighed as Grinch and Twitch moved forward crouching until they returned "shooters in the store below" twitch followed it up "10-15" sandman looked at me "Sounds fun, Maverick?" He nodded "switch 'em off" sandman gave some hand signals as Maverick, Truck, Grinch, Frost and I moved and the rest looked confused until sandman whispered pair up with one of them, that's your battle buddy until this mission is over" I glanced left and saw sandman move to Frost, Valkyrie to truck, Jäger to grinch, Kapkan to Maverick and Twitch to me. We fired into the targets as Sandman was heard "Grinch, Jäger keep overwatch while we take the store!" I looked at Emma "this is where it gets fun" with a wild glint to my eyes as we quickly pushed down the spiral staircase firing at the enemies until we hit the ground floor and fanned our sweeping the store in a line pegging any Russians hiding or trying to escape. It took 30 seconds before everyone yelled "clear!" And the two operators on overwatch met up with us. Until another group of soldiers pushed in through the hole in the front of the store firing, I tackled twitch as rounds soared past us before raise to a crouch and looking back firing into any enemies I could see. She got up as the team traded rounds for another minute before I heard Sandman "Frost, Throw some frags!" I saw him throw 2 or 3 before they detonated and it fell quiet, I looked over "you okay? I know I'm heavy" she giggled behind her hand "Oui, thank you" I stood and rallied on sandman "think we're clear?" He looked at me "In this city? No, there's always gonna be a Russian around a corner here" I sighed "I was afraid you'd say that" before we stood and Sandman spoke "let's move" we slowly approached the breach until I saw another delta team and Maverick yelled "Hold fire! Anvil team approaching!" Everyone relax slightly as Sandman and I came forward "Anybody hit?" Grizzly replied "we're good!" As Sandman asked "What's the sitrep on mid-town?!" To which grizzly replied "Russians have it locked down! They're kicking our ass! We can't get through!" Valkyrie asked "Any word on air support?!" He shook his head "still nothing! Guidance systems are scrambled! We need that jammer down!" Grinch replied "then let's move!" As I saw Frost pull his XM-25 and fire down the street over rubble and cracked road into a Russian armored transport causing it to detonated "nice" all of a sudden Thumper yelled "contact! Memorial building to the north!" As we took cover behind the destroyed transport, I looked at twitch, Valkyrie and Jäger "You three stay here and cover, Maverick, Kapkan on me!" They formed up as I yelled to Sandman "We're crossing!" He nodded as we tore out of our cover and across the street under heavy fire before we reached the steps and moved up to the marble pillars "Spread out, we fire from these pillars!" They nodded as I ran to the farthest one clearing it of any Russians before I place my heat guard against the marble pillar and used it as a stabilizer and selectively fired into the Russian forces. Frost moved up to us as the two armored trucks started firing "Frost can you deal with them?!" He yelled back "affirm!" As I heard the distinctive thumping of the XM-25 and saw the trucks hop with explosions. After the trucks were down the fire superiority laid firmly with us and the Russian troops tried to pull back into the exchange, few made it as we moved back down next to the team and Sandman yelled "inside the stock exchange!" As I heard grizzly and Twitch "let's move!"
