It has been a couple of hours since we got back into the car. We hadn't been saying much to each other, some small talk here and there, but nothing much. My head was leaning against my window while I looked outside.

To be honest, there wasn't much to see outside. It was dark, and the windshield is completely engulfed in snow. Next to me, the window was where the big three was, but I could see a bit next to it.

Sometimes I think I see something moving in the dark, but it always turns out to be a bird or a tree branch that moves because of the wind. Whatever we hit is still out there, and I don't want it to come back.

I may have magic, but I never used it or knew any spells. Besides, I don't want to use my demon powers. I don't want my dad to know where I am. I don't want him to come here and take me back with him. I don't know if I would survive any longer with him.

"This must have been the craziest few weeks of your life." I turned my head towards Jay when I heard him talk.

"W-what do you mean?" I asked, confuse. My life is crazy.

This is nothing in comprising to my old life.

"Moving to a new town, starting a new school, then the accident with the closet, those crazy people chasing you and Faye, and now this."

Many things happened when I moved here, but I rather have all those things happen to me now than having to go back to my dad. Moving and going to a new school is something simple, I guess, and many kids have to do those things.

The closet, the chasing, and now this, yes, that's crazy.

I shrug my shoulders before resting my head against the seat.

"I can handle it. Don't worry about it." I simple answer.

Jay nodded his head before looking away.

"Hey Jay, did Faye mention something about that night. About those people and stuff." He looked back at me before answering.

"She told me that you guys ran away from them, but that they somehow catch up." I nodded my head thinking back about that night.

I should've just stayed home. The cult could've hurt Faye if I wasn't careful, but I'm pretty sure that they were after me, not her.

"She also told me that she couldn't see their faces, but that she had a bad feeling about them." I bit the inside of my cheek, looking away from him.

So I wasn't the only one having a bad feeling. Somehow Faye felt the same thing.

Sometimes regular people can sense danger. They would have a feeling in their guts that something isn't right.

"I couldn't see their faces either, but I think I have an idea who they were," I said, looking back at him.

Jay sat up looking at me with a-raised brows.
