I took my seat next to Faye at the back of the class

I took my seat next to Faye at the back of the class. It has been a long weekend. The dance from Friday was a disaster. Luckily nobody else got hurt. Jay has been healing thanks to the potions and herbs from aunt Meg quickly.

We told him to stay home at least for one more day, but he wanted to come to school. He was limping a little, but you couldn't see that something was wrong with him. Physically he was doing better, but I wasn't so sure about him mentally.

The couple of nights he had to spend with me in the house, I heard him talk in his sleep. When I check on him, he looks so stressed out and scared. Every time I want to wake him up, it seems to stop. It worries me, so I always stay in the room in the chair at the window. I want to make sure he's okay and that my dad did nothing to him.

"One last class, and then we can go home," Faye said with a sigh.

She has been spending her weekend with me. She wanted to make sure her brother was okay, but she also had to from her dad. He knew she would be safer in my house with the protection spell.

"Yeah, it's been an exhausting day." I breathe out, laying my head down on my arms.

I haven't had a goodnight's sleep in these couple of days. Not only from keeping an eye out for Jay, but I keep having these nightmares about my dad and everyone around me. They are all awful, making me want to stay awake.

When I saw Dean walking in with a smirk on his face, my eyes went to the door, with Chloe coming in closely behind him. Luckily for us, aunt Meg and Mister Gray erased his memories of what happened Friday night.

The only thing he can remember is passing out in the bathroom.

I guess the school thought he was drunk because they didn't look further into it. His parents probably made sure that he wouldn't get in trouble, like always.

My head shot up from my desk when Jay and Paul walked in.

Like always, Paul had a small smile on his face greeting us before sitting down in front of me. Jay, on the other hand, had a cold blank stare on his face. A frown came to my face, and I look over at Faye, who had the same confused look on her face as me.
