First conversation

Of course.

Of course the two class clowns were friends. How am I to even dare think they weren't.

"Yo Chris." Brandon called out as he walked over to us.

Chris turned around and did some handshake with Brandon as he greeted him back. "What's up Brandon bro."

I was standing behind Chris nervously as I tried looking just above his shoulder to see Brandon.

They were both quite tall compared to me which almost made them look like two towers.

"So I was wondering if you wanted to skip last class? We're going on the bus together anyways to get home plus I doubt you have anything better to do." Brandon began to rant as he would glance at me from time to time causing us to have some type of awkward eye contact which made me look away each time.

"Nah sorry bro, I'm walking Isabella to class." Chris stepped to the side and looked at me with a small smile before turning his attention back to Brandon.

"H-Hey." I stuttered.

Why was I so nervous? Is it because Brandon was so intimidating?

"Hey Isabella, how's your day been?" Brandon smiled as he put his full attention onto me which put me more under pressure under his presence.

"I-It's been okay- Yours?" I grow red.

"I'm glad. Mine's has been good, better that your's is good." He winked, sending chills up my spine.

Before I could respond, the bell had rang and Chris instantly grabbed my hand as he dragged me out of class towards our next.

Yet something about his gesture gave me even more butterflies instead of making me annoyed at him.

"Sorry." He nervously laughed as he let go off my hand. "I promise I'm a good student."

"Mhm, sure." I frowned at the loss of warmth in my hand yet I began to smile again when I heard his silly laugh.

"Oh come on, I am!" He laughed.

"Whatever you say Mr. O'brien." I giggled.
