First Argument

"I-."

"I'm sorry sir, I really needed to go to the toilet like I just couldn't hold it in." A familiar deep voice had interrupted me causing all of us to look towards the direction it came from.

It was him. Brandon.

My eyes widened and mentally my jaw dropped to the floor as my mouth made an 'o' shape.

"Brandon." The teacher sighed and shook his head. "Listen. Isabella, you're a good student I'll give you that. You're also lucky Mr. Gray has arrived and saved you but I still won't let it slide by so I'm sorry to say but you will be getting lunch time detention tomorrow."

"What?! Sir you-" Chris stepped forward but immediately backed when the teacher glared at him.

"You, Mr. Gray on the other hand will also be getting lunch time detention tomorrow. This isn't my first time having you in my class and I know all your silly excuses."

I glanced at Brandon in disappointment as he rolled his eyes noticing, of course he was use to detention. It was practically an ordinary thing to him unlike me who never genuinely had a detention.

"Mr. O'brien why are you still here? Please head to class and you two get into class now. Everyone has assigned seats and luckily you two are assigned together."

Great. Exactly what I needed.

Brandon looked at me as if he would get a reaction but instead I kept on a neutral face as I began to walk to class keeping my head low whilst giving a small goodbye wave to Chris.

"Bye Chris boo!" Brandon joked as he fake cooed, waving Chris off.

"Mr. Gray get the hell into my class before I keep you behind." The teacher yelled.

"But I have a bus-"

"GET IN THE GODDAMN CLASS."

"Yes sir." He smiled as he posed like a soldier.

Wow even when the teacher is on the verge of ripping his head off, he jokes around. Classic Brandon.

I sat at the desk as I watched Brandon take confident steps toward our shared desk. I don't know why but for some reason I frowned and turned my back to him when he smiled at me, pulling his chair out to sit.

Midway into class, I felt his stare bore into my back as I still stayed in the same position.

"Why are you mad with me? I should be mad with you instead!" He whispered, slightly raising his voice.

I couldn't believe this. I bite my lip as I smile in anger and frustration before turning around swiftly causing him to flinch.

"Me? Why should you be mad with me?" I spat out in a whisper.

"You literally hugged frigging Chris right in front of me! Quite bold of you, 'Isabella'."

"Screw you Brandon! I panicked okay? Plus you ran away leaving us to get in trouble! Why'd you come back."

Brandon groaned as he rubbed his forehead. "Because I stopped just at the corner to tie my shoes and since Mr. Price has a loud bloody voice I could hear him scolding you for something I did!" He slowly began to raise his voice.

"It doesn't concern you!" I also raised my voice.

He let out a sarcastic chuckle. "You literally just said I ran away when you and Chris were getting in trouble."

As we continued to bicker almost like a couple, we never noticed that half of the classes attention was on us.

Today was the first time I spoke to Brandon and here we were arguing as if we dated.

For no reason I was angry at him and he was angry that I hugged Chris.

It was my first time having an argument with someone and that someone just had to be Brandon.
