As Pan and I walked towards his camp, I made sure to memorize the directions. I could tell we were close when I heard the faint sound of boys yelling, cheering and playing around.

"Boys!" Pan called as he stepped right on top of a rock, looking below at us.

The Lost boys started to form a crowd below him, and began to listen as he spoke.

"Hook and his men decided to pay us a little visit."

As Pan said that, I could hear a few laughs and mumbles from the Lost boys. I stood behind the crowd, my arms crossed and my ears listening intently.

"I think we should welcome them back by inviting them to a game. What do you think?" asked Pan as he smirked at all the boys.

They all cheered, agreeing to a playful game. All but me. I was too confused to keep up with these humans.

"Here's how you play," Pan started as he stepped off the rock. "For every pirate you catch, you gain 5 points. Now, if you want to get some extra points, you can always kill. Every kill will be worth 15 points."

My eyebrows furrowed, and I couldn't seem to find myself in the same worlds that these boys were in. I don't mean to be a hypocrite here, but I don't see a reason on why these boys had to kill pirates just for a messed up- violent game. Did this even have a reward!

"And if you're wondering about the reward for the one with the greater score."

Seriously?

"You will be told after the winner is known."

"What happens if we get caught?" asked a Lost Boy in the crowd.

"You lose," Pan answered. "Now... Let's play."

After Pan said those words, every boy cheered and ran all around the place. They grabbed their weapons and headed in every direction. I did my best not to be dragged by them, and stood next to a nearby tree. I heard a voice next to me.

"I'm surprised you're still here."

I looked to my left, and I saw the one and only, Felix, standing on the other side of the tree.

"Oh, so you'd rather stay here and talk to me than to go play hide and seek with the others? How thoughtful," I said, placing a hand on my chest.

Felix rolled his eyes. "I warned you to watch yourself."

"That's what you said earlier, and guess what. I'm still here," I said, crossing my arms.

"That's because the plan was interrupted earlier. Now that the boys are getting the pirates out of the way, the plan may proceed," as Felix said this, he kept getting closer to me to the point that my back was now pressing the tree behind me.

"Plan? What plan?" I asked.

Felix simply smirked, and disappeared in the shadows. These things are pretty easy when the skies are already dark.

"I just love it when you're so helpful!" I called out at him, not being sure if he could hear me.

I turned around, and noticed Pan walking off into the forest. I sprinted after him.

"Hey, Wizard!" I called.

I finally reached him, and grabbed his shoulder.

"What was that about? You're killing people for a game?" I asked.

Pan looked down, his eyes closed.

"I have to distract the pirates for a little while," he said.

"By killing them?! Peter, how the hell is that a distraction?" I asked.

He sighed.

"Come with me," Pan said. "I'll explain."

I decided it was best to follow him and to let him explain if I wanted to know the point of this 'game'. We walked away from the camp.

"Pirates have been coming to this island a bit too much. They've been taking my time, and distracting us from doing our work," he explained.

"And what would that work be?" I asked.

Pan stopped walking to smirk at me.

"Surviving."

Before I could ask what kind of survival he spoke about, I was caught by surprise. I gasped as my feet flew up the ground, and all of a sudden I was hanging up in the air, upside down. I looked at my feet, and saw my right foot tied in a rope that was tied around a high branch.

"What... What is this?!" I asked, looking frantically at the skirt that was threatening to slide down.

I held the skirt up to keep it from sliding below my waist. Pan looked at the ground, then looked up, his smirk never leaving its place.

"I had to do what I had to do. It was for our safety. We can't trust a mermaid who has just gained legs, and is now walking around the island," Pan explained.

"What about the pirates?" I asked, already dizzy from hanging upside down.

"Oh, don't tell me you're actually blushing for them," said Pan, grinning.

It was obvious how he was talking about the red in my face. It sure as hell wasn't a blush, but because of the blood in my head.

"Screw you," I muttered.

Pan shook his head. "The Captain was just worried about you."

"What?" I asked.

"Captain Hook was asking about a girl who just came to the island. He kept saying he came to get her. He didn't say her name, but I know he was talking about you," Pan said, walking closer to me.

As dizziness kept overwhelming me, my eyelids started to drop, covering my eyes.

"Y-you... won't get away... w-with this," I said as I started seeing darkness.

"I already have," Peter Pan whispered, and darkness overtook everything.
