We finally got on the ship, and I couldn't help but cross my arms. There were pirates everywhere, and I wasn't feeling the least bit at home even though these men were my rescuers. Surprisingly, I kept closest to the Captain.

"Well, Captain, care to explain?" I asked.

"Before I do, how about you get more comfortable? A change of clothing, perhaps?"

As Killian said that, I looked down at the white nightgown that Pan had given me. It was now torn, and it, along with me, was covered in dirt smudges.

"Yes, I'd like that," I said, smiling.

The Captain smiled as well. He led me to one of the rooms in the ship. It was a big room- bigger than the others. There was a desk in front of the window, and books all around.

"Is this your room?" I asked.

"Yep, Captain's quarters," Killian answered.

"Oh, the great cabin," I said, naming it what my brother once called it.

He told me about how the Captains always had a better room called 'The Great Cabin'. I found it annoying how just because the man was a captain, he got to live better than the other sailors. But these were pirates, so I honestly couldn't care less.

"Here you are, darling."

I turned around, and was instantly met by a change of clothes. Killian threw them at me, but I caught them. I looked down at them, and heard a door closing. I looked up, and saw Killian was gone.

"Hm... Never thought pirates were capable of having manners," I murmured, and changed.

I walked to a mirror nearby, and looked at myself.

"Not bad," I said, looking down my back.

My eyes followed down my hair. Having long hair was sort of a mermaid thing. We never usually cut it, we just let it grow. My hair only reached below my hips so far.

I wore a pair of leggings, a long leather coat that was worn over a white peasant blouse and a pair of Ornate Captain Boots. I was ready to step on deck, and stepped out of the door. The first person I looked for was the Captain. I walked through the mess of pirates working on the ship.

"Ahoy there!"

I turned around, and saw Killian handling the ship's wheel. I smiled, walking up the stairs to his way. I stood next to him.

"Hello there, Captain," I said, placing my hands on my hips. These pirates may have helped me, but that wasn't enough o get me to speak like them. "So, explain," I said, getting straight to the subject.

"A friend of yours came to me in need. She said she needed my help desperately. When I asked her, she told me I had to find a girl who was descripted just like you," Killian explained.

"What was her name?" I asked.

The Captain looked up, squinting his eyes as he remembered the time he met her.

"A..." Killian trailed off, "Ariel."

My eyes widened.

"Ariel? As in mermaid Ariel? With the red hair, and the green tail?" I asked. "That Ariel?"

"Yes."

I laughed, and the grin stayed on my face as I passed my hands through my dark brown hair. I laughed even more.

"She's looking for me! My best friend is looking for me!"

"Yes, she said she'd be waiting for you," said Killian as my back faced him.

"Then I have to find her," I turned to Killian. "Where is she? I have to find her!"

"Angel!"

I heard a girl calling for me.

"Angel!" the voice repeated.

"Ariel!" I called out as I ran down the stairs, and towards the main deck.

I was about to reach the ship's railing when I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. I gasped at the sudden feeling.

"Where ye think ye going, love?" said the man holding me back.

"Let go of me," I said as I struggled to get out of his grip. I grimaced from the strong  scent of rum radiating off of him.

I saw their Captain walking down the steps towards us.

"Killian, help me," I said as I kept struggling.

"It's Captain Hook to ye," said the man behind me, his lips already touching my ear.

I was able to catch a quick glimpse of him, but all I could tell was that the pirate behind me wore a sailor vest, two black leather bracers, and I noticed a small scar over his left eye.

"Captain Hook?" I asked out loud.

I signed, realizing what could've been happening. This must've been one of those 'your rescuer is actually your new kidnapper' moments. Those moments really bite you in the ass.

"That's my name. I'm sure you've heard of it," said Killian as he stood in front of me.

"No," I shook my head, already tired from this useless talk. "Look, it's obvious that I don't care about who you are, so why don't you tell your little assistant here to get his hands off me."

"Angel?" I heard Ariel's voice again, and that just made me more impatient.

"Let go of me, right now!" I snapped.

Killian walked towards the ship's railing, and looked down at the sea

"Don't worry, love, we'll return her to you in just a second," he said, gesturing to me, "but first, the deal."

"What deal?" I asked, but the Captain ignored.

"You said you'd give us our treasure if we returned her to you," he said.

"I have the treasure, but please, let her go," Ariel pleaded.

"How about the treasure first, then you get the girl," said Killian.

"Okay, here," after Ariel's words, I saw a sack shoot into the air, over the railing, and land on Killian's hand.

"Now please, hand her over," Ariel said, and I swore I could see a face of hesitation on Killian.

"Hmm... You know, I have been getting a bit curious about something," Killian started.

He nodded at the pirates, and they started moving. I looked to see what they were doing, and I saw a few of them holding an anchor. I was more surprised when they dragged it towards me, and left it there.

"What are they doing?" I asked the Captain, but I knew he wasn't going to answer me.

"You're a mermaid, and you seem to know this girl very well," Killian pointed his hook at me, "would that mean that this girl could be a mermaid as well?"

As he kept talking, I saw pirates bringing in chains now, and wrapping them around the anchor.

"And if she's a mermaid," there was a pause before Killian asked, "where's her tail, and how is it that she has human legs?"

All of a sudden, my arms were pulled behind my back, and I felt a heavy tightening around my wrists. I could hear chains clattering behind me as I moved my arms.

"I don't know how she got her legs," said Ariel.

Killian sighed.

"Alright then. You won't tell us where her legs came from," Killian pointed to me, "she won't tell us where her legs came from. If we want to get rid of the danger, we're going to have to get rid of her... Men, if you will?"

I gasped as soon as the pirates lifted me up.

"Put me down!" I yelled.

"Angel!"

Ariel's scream was the last thing I heard before I saw the anchor get thrown into the ocean, and my whole body slid out of the pirates' hands.

My body was then engulfed in water.
