Chapter 50

A week later....
"Hey Shawn" I say coming up to him and sitting on his lap while he sat on the couch watching tv.
"Can you teach me how to play the guitar?" I ask and he looks at me smiling with pride
"You want me to teach you eh?" He questions, I roll my eyes
"Well Yh that's what I just said" I reply
"Cool lets get cracking" He says as I get off his lap and he leads me to the second closet in the bedroom, he opens it to reveal: two acoustic guitars and his blue guitar I got for him that Christmas hanging on the wall inside.
"Right so take the acoustic guitar" He says, I look at him and shake my head
"What?" He asks
"Can you take it out, I really don't wanna drop it" I say and he looks at me pouting his mouth
"Awww" He cops taking the acoustic guitar out and placing it in my hand
"You want a pick?" He questions while getting the other acoustic guitar out
"Um Yh" I reply and he chucks one at me somehow I catch it
"Nice catch bro" He chuckles while sitting next to me on the bed.
"So I'm just gonna teach you basic chords" He states looking at me and I nod

Two weeks later...
Everyday I would grab a guitar out of the closet with ease after seeing how he'd do it. Sometimes it would just be me trying to play a song while Shawn watches or I'd practice by myself if Shawn ever had an interview and I didn't feel like going. The times I would be alone I realised that I would make random tunes that didn't really make sense. However on this particular day I didn't realise that the random chords I strummed would create a very special song.

On that day,
"Honey I'm back" Shawn says closing the door
"Shawnnn I wanna show you something!!" I exclaim and he speed walks to the bedroom opening the door quickly
"What is it?" He asks
"Sit" I pat on the floor opposite to where I'm sitting
"Ok" He says sitting down
"Oooo you gonna play a song for meeeeeeee?" He smiles
"Shut up" I state as I take a breath and try and remember the chords that I played
(Play the video for a bit but of course there's no lyrics to the song lol)

I strum the last strum and Shawn claps, I slowly look up and smiles uncontrollably.
"That was really good the fuck" He smiles nudging my shoulder
"It wasn't but thanks" I chuckle
"No it was and that melody would be even better if there were lyrics of course and some bass to it" He says and I nod
"You're so fucking talented you know that?" He asks looking into my eyes
"Yh right that's coming from you" I laugh but he doesn't laugh but instead places his hand on mine
"I mean it Y/N" He states with a straight face

(Quick note: This song wasn't included on the album when Shawn released it so he went with IICHY instead as Y/N just created this melody now)
