August 8th I wake up to feel Shawn's usual embrace around my waist. "Hm I wonder what day it is today?" I ask staring at his closed eyes while he mumbled something with his morning raspy voice "Hm what'd you say?" I question "I said gee I don't know" He smiles still keeping his eyes closed "You're so cute" I grin booping his nose and his smile gets even wider. "The big two five eh?" I say mimicking him and he laughs "How has your laugh not changed?" I question "Is my laugh supposed to change as I get older?" He responds "My laugh changes sometimes I don't know why" I smile "Well...I don't know" He replies and I roll my eyes "I know you just rolled your eyes even though my eyes aren't open" He states and I look at him "Stop looking at me Y/N" He says "Stop being weird the fuck!" I exclaim hitting his arm and he finally opens his eyes
After we take a shower... Shawn puts on this:

"Sooo what you doing today Shawn now that you're older" I say "Well I was thinking we could take a walk around" He replies "Don't you think the paparazzi will follow us or something?" I ask "Maybe but we'll just keep walking around and enjoy our day" He answers and I smile automatically due to his adaption to becoming famous.
During our walk.... My eyes admire the ocean above my head in which shy fluffy clouds floated around and all of a sudden I feel Shawn's hand grab mine. I look at him and he smiles back at me as I look to my right I see some people taking pictures on the side of the road but I just ignore it.
As long as Shawn is happy today
"Shawn! Shawn!" A man yells holding a camera along with some other paparazzi and I can't help but roll my eyes. "Yes man?" Shawn asks "I just wanted to say happy birthday dude! I hope you're enjoying your day" The man says trying to get closer to us but we continue walking "Thank you" Shawn smiles "Have you got any surprise plans for him Y/N?" He questions "Well if I said then it wouldn't be a surprise would it?" I chuckle and Shawn chuckles a bit as well "Awww look at you two love birds" He says as they take more pictures of us "Well done on the album Shawn and we heard you're going on tour next year" He continues "Thanks man and yes I am" Shawn replies "That's awesome so Y/N does Shawn ever serenade you with his guitar skills?" He carries on "Well he plays the guitar a lot..that's all I can say" I smile but I was secretly starting to get annoyed. "Ooo I see, well have you heard the rumours on how you and Shawn met?" He asks "I've seen quite a few" I reply "Apparently you guys saw each other in a cafe and sparks flew" He says
If only they knew
"No comment" I smile and Shawn squeezes my hand as I get my phone out and go on the Uber app. "One minute" I whisper in his ear as the man kept asking us questions. We walk to the curb and the Uber approaches. Shawn opens the door for me and I get in. Suddenly, as he's about to get in a group of girls run up to the paparazzi screaming Shawn's name and wishing him a happy birthday. For some reason the paparazzi were blocking the girls even though they just wanted a picture with Shawn.
"Hey guys can you move as these fans want a picture!" Shawn exclaims,they move slightly and he manages to take a picture with them. "Thank youuuu!" A girl squeals and I notice the paparazzi had already disappeared. "We love youuu and oh my go- is that Y/N?!" Another girl exclaims and I poke my head out of the car. "Hey" I laugh "You're so fucking pretty and lucky...treat him right for his birthday!!" She yells "Aww thank you and I will don't worry...we love you guys!" I exclaim as Shawn gets in and closes the door. "Y/N you're going to have to pay extra for making me wait so damn long" The driver says "Sorry" Shawn mouths while looking at me "It's fine" I reply
