"How are we going to do this?" asked Amber out loud but for her own ears.
"Kickass and take numbers," answered Davis.
"Silly. They have the numbers," remarked Amber.
Amber leaned on the steering wheel and rubbed her chin.
"Light bulb. Roadkill," said Amber.
"Speed bumps. Let's do it," stated Davis with a gigantic grin.
"Let's start the party," declared Amber.
Amber stomped on the pedal, making the tires squeal and headed for the handicap ramp. Everyone bounced in their seats as the vehicle struck the sidewalk. The SUV barreled down the walkway, mowing the zombies over that came toward them. Amber gunned the engine then beeped the vehicle's horn while the zombies looked in their direction, and they stepped away from the doorway. The SUV hit some zombies with a thud, and a few of them clawed at the hood, so they weren't run over.
The back window went down, then Davis screamed, "Here, zombie! Zombie! Zombie."
A zombie leaned away from the rest, cocked his head, and sneered at them. The zombie turned facing them, then growled and held his hands up. After he reacted, additional zombies' attention was placed on the group.
"Hang on," remarked Amber, then positioned the gear shifter on the letter R and gunned the engine.
When Amber was finished, she backed the SUV around the corner in the alley.
Amber glanced at Davis and stated, "Let's finish this dance."
"Let's dance," retorted Davis as they opened the doors.
The group walked up behind the few zombies that were still alive.
"I want to check something out," indicated Amber and bolts flew landing in the backs of the zombie's.
"Didn't kill them," conveyed Joseph.
"I swear I hit their hearts," said Amber.
"They need more damage inflicted on them," stated Joseph.
"Headshot or back of the neck?" asked Amber.
"Neck, sever the spine," answered Joseph.
"That would be for the best. The greatest damage we could do," verbalized Amber.
"Cut the heads off," expressed Davis.
"You would come up with that one," laughed Amber.
"You will always love me," remarked Davis.
"I have to. You're my kid," retorted Amber.
"That wasn't nice," pouted Davis.
"No. It was funny," snickered Amber.
Davis slammed against Amber and said, "I know you love me."
"Yes, Davis. I love you," whispered Amber as they hugged.
"Let's get this over," uttered Joseph.
Immediately Joseph slammed his weapon against a zombie's head that turned for them. A bolt whizzed through the air connecting in the nape of the zombie's neck, and it fell. They finished off the last of the zombies within moments. Amber held a hand above her eyes while she peered inside the door's window.
"I don't see anything," reported Amber.
"Try the door," said Davis.
"Already did. It's locked," conveyed Amber.
