The growls grew closer toward them. Amber cocked her head then turned slowly toward the sounds. While Amber turned, she raised her crossbow with care toward the snarls. Within seconds, she released a bolt into a muscular zombie lurching around a gate. The zombie's protest was ended by the bolt sticking through his gaped mouth. Black blood oozed from the arrow's broad-heads and fletchings.
"Don't leave home without it," remarked Amber.
"Funny," said Gavin.
"I thought it was. We need to get zombies for the doctor," stated Amber.
"Let's do this," expressed Don.
"While we have the numbers," said Amber.
"Yes. Indeed," expressed Gavin.
"I'm glad you came, Gavin. We can always use a strong person," conveyed Amber.
As the other zombies came in sight, Amber shot one in the leg. She struck another zombie on the side of the knee. Soon three zombies laid headless in the driveway. They restrained the male and a couple of female zombies. They strolled inside Amber's house. She acknowledged her people that came toward the group.
"Zach, Gavin, and Don take the zombies to the doctor. The rest have a seat I'll be back," ordered Amber.
As soon as Amber was in her bedroom, she picked the phone up then whispered out loud, "Please, you got to be alive. Answer the phone."
"Are you alright?" asked Don as he walked into the bedroom.
"I just tried my brother. He didn't answer," answered Amber.
At once, Don engulfed Amber in his arms and held her there until she stepped back. In a few strides, Amber was at her outside door. She opened it for her dogs instantly; they ran through it. When the dogs pounced on each other and ran around, it made them smile.
"I'm glad they found Zach and William. They've been helpful," related Amber.
"Yes. Zach has been the biggest help," responded Don.
"We'll go back and set down the rules for the newbies," declared Amber.
"Alright," replied Don.
"You're going to tell them," revealed Amber.
Once Amber's words were done, Don turned her. As she faced him, he retorted, "I think I need persuading."
"Oh, you do. Maybe I can do that," expressed Amber.
After Amber positioned both hands on Don's powerful broad shoulders, they kissed. Amber's leg rubbed between his thighs.
"Is that good?" asked Amber sweetly.
Don's head chocked sideways, and he answered, "More."
Instantly Amber's hands ran down Don's torso. Soon her fingers grasped his buttocks firmly. When Amber pressed their bodies together, she smiled. Her teeth held a portion of her bottom lip between them. A kiss followed that was more intense and longer than the last one.
"More," whispered Amber.
"Definitely more," murmured Don on her lips.
In a heartbeat, Amber was off her feet. She held on for dear life as she was taken for a ride. Don stood over the bed with a knee on it. As Don kissed Amber, her buttocks were on the bed's edge, and he laid her on it. Don raised Amber's shirt up, then his fingers unlatched her bra and eased it up. Afterward, Don's hands manipulated the mounds until Amber was moaning into his mouth. He raised and looked down at her. With one hand, Don unrestricted Amber's pants. He rose and forced the pants down past her buttocks within an instant. As Don watched, he ran a hand over Amber's torso then between her thighs several times before he made her legs open.
