The men rose from their stomachs. Immediately the group ran for the encampment staying out of the four guard's eyesight. They continued until they were hidden by the vehicles, and carefully made their way for the guards.
"Have a seat. I'll do some of the work," requested Amber.
"Thank you. I can do it," said Jessica.
"Have you heard anything else about the virus?" asked Amber as she finished cleaning.
"It's a few viruses' some natural, some man-made, toxins, and man-made chemicals to enhance the disorder," answered Jessica.
"Smart and sick," related Amber.
"They enhanced a rabies virus and don't kill the host. They sped up the time of incubation," reported Jessica.
"We've found out stuff on our own because of our zombies," remarked Amber.
"They're learning," commented Alexandria.
"True and getting the word out. I would say there is more than just the rabies virus," said Amber.
"Yes. They enhanced a few more. The man-made suppresses some DNA and enhances primal DNA," stated Jessica.
While the women talked about the virus, the group prowled until they were behind the four guards. They pounced like a cat on mice. The guards never stood a chance as each of the men walked by the group. They stood up in silence, covered the guard's mouths, and sliced their throats without a peep. Immediately the blood flowed from the neck wound as the men held Amber's guards. The men hid the bodies as the guard's lives faded away.
After Amber finished listening to the conversation, she gazed out the window. She stood staring out the window then looked from each face.
"What's wrong, mom?" asked Alexandria.
"I don't see the men," answered Amber.
Alexandria and Jessica examined out the other windows trying to see the men but seen nothing.
"Nothing," stated both women.
"Sheila. Shirley. Dawn. Come with me. Alex. You protect the other women and Jess," commanded Amber.
"I think you should take me instead of Shirley," related Alexandria.
"I want you to keep them safe," ordered Amber.
"You know I hate this," declared Alexandria.
"I know, but we need Jess protected. Lock the RV up," whispered Amber.
One by one, they cautiously stepped from the RV glancing from side to side. When the last woman was out, Alexandria closed and locked the door. She watched the four woman group. Amber directed with a wave for the other two women to head in the opposite direction of them. The women cautiously marched their separate ways until they met on the other side of the circle's inner circumference. They stared at each other than scanned around the encampment.
"What now?" asked Dawn.
"We'll go around the outside," answered Amber.
Amber unrestrained two fence panels with the controlled calm that the situation would need that under the surface wasn't there. They ventured in opposite directions after Amber closed the fence. Amber glanced at her horses, standing by the RV. Gradually, Amber and Sheila walked in a hunched stance. They watched for any sign of trouble while they approached a van. While Sheila stood readied for the fight, Amber went on hands and knees. Immediately Amber's face was in front of her man's deadpan eyes then a gasp emerged from her mouth. There was an additional gasp, then Amber turned toward Sheila. Straightaway Amber was face to face with the beautiful zombie. Instantly Amber felt a heaviness on her upper back. The pressure became heavier when she tried standing. Quickly Amber attempted yelling only to have a ghillie suit hand covered her mouth instantaneously.
