With Henry:

The bearded man had accidentally fallen into a pit, the wooden plank he was trying to walk across breaking when he took several steps onto it.

He had been forced to find some ink wells in a maze of hallways, also trying to avoid a group of Butcher Gang clones just so he could make some pipes with the Ink Maker that was located near the door he needed to get through, all because some ink needed to be drained before he can open the said door.

Now, he was standing in a large vault, trying to find the film reel that will defeat the Ink Demon for good.

Allison had told him about the film reel before he had fallen, getting seperated from the Alice Angel and Boris look-alikes.

“He must have taken it, to prevent anyone from playing the film reel” said Allison, appearing behind Henry out of nowhere.

Henry jumped in fright, aiming his tommy gun at the Alice Angel look-alike.

“How the Hell did you two get down here?” asked Henry, lowering the gun after seeing it was only them.

Allison chuckled, holding up a rope.

“It’s called a rope. You should try them” said Allison, smiling.

Tom nodded, snicked.

Henry rolled his eyes, but was happy to see the married couple again.

“So, the Ink Demon took the film reel?” asked Henry, raising an eyebrow as he slung the tommy gun back over his shoulder.

Allison sighed and nodded, a hand on her hip.

“Unfortunately yes. He broke into the vault a long time ago and took it. Like Joey Drew once said, he’s been there for his beginning, but has never seen the end. Me and Tom know where his layer is, but it’s difficult to get across, considering it’s surrounded by ink. If we step one foot into ink deeper than our knees, we will melt away, becoming a part of it” said Allison.

Henry nodded in understanding.

“Well, let’s just get to the layer before deciding on what to do next” said Henry.

Time Skip:

It took them a while to get back to the surface, the Ink Demon’s layer having actually been on the top floor the entire time.

The group of three had walked through a giant hole in the wall that hadn’t been there before, walking down some hallways before ending up in a large open room.

Allison had been right.

There was a giant river of ink surrounding what looked like a fortress on the other side.

“That’s his layer?” asked Henry, staring at the large fortress.

Allison nodded.

“Yup. That’s it. You’d think it would be in the very center of the studio, or in the deepest level, but no. It’s actually up here, near the entrance. The very beginning” said Allison, also staring at the fortress, a worried look in her eyes as she nodded.

Henry looked around, trying to find some way they could all get across.

Henry sighed., finding nothing.

“Looks like I’m going to have to go alone” said Henry, defeated.

He jumped into the inky river, seeing that it went up to his torso.

“Be careful Henry. Me and Tom will try to find some other way across” said Allison.

“Alright. I’ll do what I can” said Henry, nodding in understanding.
