Hoodie [Alejandro Rosario]

Chapter 11

Uriel and her mom dropped Christi off at her house. They finally made it back to San Diego. She was nervous to see her mom again, but for sure she was happy to hear the relaxing beach behind her house. She walked up using the keys she had to get inside, once she got inside, she started calling out her name, no response.

"Mom!! I'm home!" Christi yelled, she never got a response. She puts he stuff in the hallway for now, she then went to look for her mom. She found her drunk in the kitchen. Christi was irritated by her mom. She cleaned up the area, sooner or later, she ended up cleaning the whole house. As she finished up cleaning, she got a call, the caller ID revealing it to be Alejandro. She answer it and grabbed her stuff, and tried to multitask, going up the stairs to her room.

"Hey, I just got home, thought I should call to you to see what's up." Alejandro said, he was on his bed cuddling a pillow, I was still wearing his hoodie. I couldn't respond properly until I got all my stuff together in my room.

"It's horrible already. My mom's drunk! Passed out at the dinner table near the kitchen." Christi complained.

"Liking your new phone?" Alejandro asked.
"Of coarse. I love it very much." Christi happily replied.

"Okay, I'm sorry, I'm switching through topics, what's with your mom?" Alejandro asked.

"She's drunk, passed out downstairs. I had to clean up after her." Christi rolled her eyes.
"Throw away all her alcohol bottles, it should be best for her." Alejandro suggested.

"I don't wanna fight with that ass." Christi rolled her eyes.

"You're gonna get through it, keep you head up high." Alejandro suggested.
"Leave Kairi with my therapy sessions." Christi laughed. Alejandro was never the best at advice, whatsoever.

"Hey, I'm trying okay." Alejandro said.

"Say, how about we get Kairi to join the call." Alejandro added, asking Christi. Since those two were the only ones who knew how about Christi's position, Uriel does know about it too, but she couldn't tell the complete whole story, she didn't want to drag Uriel to the mess. Kairi then answered.

"Wassup." Kairi groaned, it was obvious that Kairi was tired. I got up to lock my room.

"Kai, Christi found her mom drunk when she came home, she was passed out at their dinner table." Alejandro explained. It was good that she told Kairi and Alejandro, now she has someone to talk to when needed.

"Chris, I'm so sorry." Kairi felt sorry for the girl. She had to deal with a non-sober mom for majority of her life.

"Just let it all happened, cause if you try to look at the good side, it'll end up being the bad side, don't put any expectations, not to high, but not to low." Kairi said. Christi and Alejandro giggled together both knowing what Alejandro tried to say earlier, was the complete opposite from what Kairi said.

"Kairi? Is that a girl?" A girl from what seems to be from Kairi's side of the call spoke up.
"Maiya, it's just a friend, I'll tell you that." Kairi explained.

"Plus, Ale is also here." Kairi added, then a cute girl popped into the screen revealing herself.

"Christi, this is my sister Maiya." Kairi introduced the little girl. Maiya smiled.
"Hi Christi!!" She waved. Kairi then whispered to Maiya about Christi and Alejandro liking each other, but they don't know about it. Maiya cooed and ended up leaving Kairi alone.

"Y'all have a gc?" Christi asked.
"Of coarse, we'll add you later." Alejandro smiled. Christi smiled back, then to hear her mom calling her.

"Be right back." Christi said, she mutes the volume of the call, forgetting to mute herself, she proceeded downstairs leaving her phone down. Where Alejandro and Kairi could hear everything.
