It was the next day. Christi was sleeping on Alejandro's bed while Alejandro willingly slept on the couch in his room. Christi didn't want him to sleep on the couch, and she'll just sleep on it, but Alejandro insisted, the two were fine either way cause at least they got to talk though out the whole night with out having to leave a different room to sleep. It felt like their phone calls, but it was in person, it was reality.
Alejandro got up before Christi, and remembered his promise to Christi yesterday morning. He show up and threw on a tank top. He then proceeded to the kitchen to start cooking something similarity what he cooked yesterday. He then saw him mom walk in.
"Ale, what are you doing up so early?" His mom asked.
"I wanna cook for Christi, I promised her yesterday, I don't wanna break that now." Alejandro explained."Oh the girl who's visiting, Christi, the girl you like." His mom smiled.
"Quiet Ma! Christi could be listening in." Alejandro nervously said, he then quickly check to see if Christi left the room yet."The video you sent me, was that her?" His mom asked.
"Of course mama, her voice is gorgeous, and I didn't knew she played guitar until last night." Alejandro smiled, thinking about last night.
"Awe, mijo, you're growing up! I'm hoping you'll end up with her in the future." His mom squeezed his cheeks.
"By the way, Alejandro." His mom said.
"Yes?" Alejandro replied."Can you some how keep Christi out of the house today? I'll text you when the two of you can return." His mom smiled while asking.
"I can do that. She's coming to our soccer practice, and we might eat out." Alejandro replied."But why?" Alejandro added asking.
"The two of you will find out together." His mom smiled. She then went back to her room"Make some for me and your brother?" His mom turned around asking.
"I love to, but we're gonna go out, remember?" Alejandro unwillingly declined, followed by laughter."It's fine, don't worry! Have fun later." His mom smiled.
"Gracias! You too mama." Alejandro smiled, he then realized what he said have face palmed himself when he heard his mom laughed. Such a fucking dumbass. He thought to himself. He then heard footsteps coming from where his room was at. It has to be Christi."¡Buenos días!" Christi smiled softly.
"Wow, you should speak Spanish more often." Alejandro smiled.
"I'm not that fluent. I only know some because my dad tried to teach me when I was like 7, and I'm also in AP Spanish in school as well." Christi shrugged."At least you could understand most of it, right?" Alejandro double checked.
"Yeah, don't worry." Christi laughed."I can't wait to beat you and Kairi's ass on the field." Christi said reminding Alejandro of his practice and their after practice game afterwards.
"Fuck, I got practice, almost forgot, thanks for reminding me." Alejandro ranted. He finished up cooking for the two."I'll be there to silently cheer you on, I'm gonna be mostly on my phone, watch." Christi lied. She was planning to watch the whole thing and just use her phone so it won't look obvious that she's blankly starring at Alejandro.
"First, and most importantly, breakfast! As you requested yesterday." Alejandro smiled, a smile grew on Christi's face. He actually made me breakfast?? She thought, she thought it was the sweetest thing that he actually remembered.
The two sat down next to each other and ate. They talked, but had to eat pretty fast or Alejandro might end up late again. He didn't want to be late this time, he wanted to somehow impress Christi. He thought that if he was late to any more practices, it would turn Christi off, if she liked her, since he had acknowledged that Christi was always the first in her team to get to practice. Christ always knew Alejandro wasn't a 'on time' guy, at least he cared and attending practices.
