Chapter 44

Christi woke up the next morning. She went to cover up her bruise and headed to the kitchen. She deciding to leave Alejandro asleep because after last night with all the swimming, the two were exhausted. Christi realized it was almost noon as she witnessed everyone quiet at the kitchen and living room. Ariel was fidgeting with her fingers, everyone else had a disappointed face and their arms crossed.

"What's going on here?" Christi asked as she looks at everyone in the room.
"So are you gonna tell her.. or should I?" Mattia scoffed, he looked at Ariel. Ariel sighed, and kept quiet.
"Mattia." Uriel's voice trailed off as she slightly lifted up her arm in front of Mattia.

"Tell me what..?" Christi asked, she then crossed her arms and her foot started tapping, waiting for the others to say something.
"Ariel.." Kairi looked at Ariel. Ariel whimpered and still kept quiet.

"It was Ariel, huh?" Christi started to realize what was going on.
"I'm sorry-"
"Mother fucking knew it. You really can't drop this thing.. huh?! What did I do to you.. huh?! What the fuck did I do?!" Christi started raising her voice.

"I- uhm.."
"Exactly, I did no shit to you!! Your stupid dumbass never had a reason for anything!! Look what you've done. I'm already going through hard times and you treat me like this!!" Christi yelled. She started moving closer to Ariel. Kairi and Alvaro immediately shot up, blocking the two. Making sure no one gets hurt.

"You wanna know what you did?!" Ariel yelled asking, no longer wanting to keep quiet.
"Enlighten me!" Christi yelled in response. Uriel and Mattia stood at the side. Watching the two fight. Uriel not wanting to participate at her two family members fighting, knowing she can't side with them, Mattia joined her, for the fact he knew he would get really physical.

"I just really fucking hate your ass!! So fucking annoying, never know when to stop talking, always showing off!! Like, to the point where I want to murder your ass!!" Ariel rolled her eyes as she yelled.
"That's not even valid!!" Christi yelled. The two went a little silent, and Christi thought about what Ariel said.

"Go ahead, I'm giving you the chance, come at me bitch!!" Christi pushed Kairi away with all her strength, Ariel did the same for Alvaro. The two fell back and their eyes widen.

"Go ahead. Hit me, stab me, drown me, push me off a roof." Christi looked dead in Ariel's eyes.
"Christi. Breathe, do you realize what you are saying?!" Kairi yelled at Christi.
"Shut the fuck up!" Christi hushed Kairi. Kairi then made his way to Alejandro, to wake him up.

"Come one Ariel. Don't be a pussy now, kill me." Christi said confidently. She didn't care how the outcome would become. Ariel clenched her fists, so did Christi. The two looking dead at each other, Christi biting the insides of her cheeks. She gave Ariel the opportunity, but she didn't take it, so Christi took it, and threw a punch across Ariel's face. Ariel placing her hand over the place Christi punched her at.

"Mother fucker." Ariel yelled, she then tackled Christi.
"Ariel!! Christi!!" Uriel manage to get out of her mouth. She worried for the two. The two then fell back on the ground, Ariel on top of Christi. Ariel wrapped her hands around her throat, squeezing it really tight, allowing Christi to barely breathe any air. Christi tried to hit back, but she couldn't, all she could do was to try and remove Ariel's hands from her throat. But she failed and tried to choke Ariel as well. Mattia, and Alvaro acted immediately, trying to pull the two girls away from each other, but they wouldn't pull away from each other.

Alejandro than came out from the bedroom, Kairi following behind him. Alejandro was at full speed, once he saw the two girls choking, he could tell Christi was failing, Mattia and Alvaro were trying to pull the two girls away from each other, but Ariel was older and stronger than the two combined. Uriel was sobbing on the side, yelling for the two girls to stop. Alejandro than took action and used all his strength to removed Ariel's hands from Christi's throat. He finally did it successfully after a few tries and Mattia, Kairi, and Alvaro grabbed Ariel and stood her up, using all their strength to not loose grip of Ariel, who was trying to pull away. Christi in the other hand, once Ariel's hands were removed, she took deep breaths. She held her throat as she gasped for as much air as possible. Uriel immediately grabbed a cup of water and gave it to Christi, so she could drink the cup of water. Christi sat on the ground leaning back on Alejandro who was also on the ground holding her, hugging her from behind.
