Chapter 27

When Mattia and Uriel got home, they both declined Mattia's parents offer for dinner, since the two were also full from the amount of pizza they ate.

Mattia and Uriel rushed down to the basement and sat facing each other on Mattia's bed.

"Ale and Ti are hiding something. I know it!" Uriel complained as she stood up again walking around the basement.

"I believe you babe, but what if they're not?" Mattia sighed standing up as well making his way towards the short girl.

"They seem way more touchy, and too comfortable with each other.. are they really secretly dating and not telling us?!" Uriel tried to put everything together.

"They aren't, Ale would've told me if he was dating his crush." Mattia said trying to reason with the girl.
"I mean, they texted each other in the car, they were also really touchy, even at the park!" Uriel tried to explain to Mattia.

"What if they are? They should have a good reason why they haven't told us yet." Mattia said as he sat down and adjusted the girl in front of her, she just remained standing.

"If so, what is that 'good' reason huh." Uriel quoted. Mattia didn't want to fight with the girl. They were arguing over two people who aren't even them. He thought that this is something they shouldn't fight about.

"Are we really gonna argue about Ale and Christi now." Mattia sighed, he then stood up and walked away from Uriel, he sat on the edge of her bed and dropped his head to his hands, rubbing his face.

"I wasn't trying to argue, langga!" Uriel sighed sitting next to the tall boy. (Hi! Langga is baby in filipino :p)

"Sorry, but can we not worry about the two. I know Christi is your cousin, and like your best friend, and that Alejandro is my best friend, but can we leave them alone maybe?" Mattia asked grabbing Uriel's hand.

"I'm sorry I brought them up." Uriel remove her hands from his and placed hers on Mattia's face. She then kissed him.
"It's okay. I can never stay mad at you." Mattia said after the kiss.

It was already midnight. Christi fell asleep and Alejandro was still wide awake. He wanted to ask Christi to be his girlfriend, and he wanted to planned it on his own, but he thought every idea he had was terrible. So he needed help.

He went and FaceTimed the group chat. The boys answer, with Uriel next to Mattia. Alejandro stood up and walked to the kitchen so he wouldn't wake up Christi.

"Dude, it's midnight! Why are you calling?!" Uriel complained as she grabbed Mattia's phone and faced the camera to her.
"El!" Mattia whispered, he then got his phone back and face the camera to show the two all snuggled up.

"Anyways, bruh, what do you need around midnight.. and where's Christi?" Kairi kept of throwing questions.

"I wanna ask Christi to be my girlfriend. I want to ask her out, then hopefully drop the question." Alejandro told the others.

"I knew it! You guys are kinda dating.. in a way." Uriel said, she wasn't completely right, but she was on similar tracks.

"Where are you guys gonna eat?" Alvaro asked Alejandro.
"I'm not sure.. I want like to go to this fancy place.." Alejandro suggested to himself.

"No." They all replied. Alejandro looked at his screen confused.
"Christi doesn't do fancy. You of all people should know that anyways." Uriel explained.

"You're right.. um.. dinner by the beach..?" Alejandro said unsure.
"Yes! Remember, she always said how the beach relaxes her and calms her, it'll be perfect!" Kairi smiled.

"How come we haven't went on a date yet?" Uriel looked up at Mattia.
"Oof." The other three boys went, realizing he hasn't considered taking Uriel on a date yet.
"One day." Mattia looked down at her replying, Uriel playfully rolled her eyes while smiling.

"After dinner, I wanna do something that'll involve you guys." Alejandro suggested.
"I'm up for that!" Uriel excitedly smiled as she faced the camera to her face.

"Uriel, let me see Mattia's face, we both know that I'm the real girlfriend here and your a side chick I'm not bothered about." Kairi joked around.
"Sorry, but I'm the girl Mattia said 'not to worry about'." Uriel strike back at Kairi, playing along.

"Guys, let's focus on the couple we want right now." Alvaro said. Uriel and Kairi later on laughed.
"I would go to Kairi thought." Mattia let out one last joke. Uriel slapped his chested and they drew their attention back to Alejandro.

"So, what do you guys wanna do?" Alejandro laughed as he tried to get back on subject.
"I don't know.. we'll give her your hoodies." Alvaro blankly said.

"That would be funny." Alejandro thought about it.
"No! I was just joking!" Alvaro laughed as he stopped Alejandro.

"I got an idea!! I'll text y'all later as I completely plan this out!" Alejandro said, he then left the call.

"So, this is either gonna be really good, or just very stupid." Alvaro sighed.
"Alejandro loves Christi. He'll know what to do, anything to make her happy." Kairi pointed out.

"I'm just disappointed he thought of dressing up to go eat dinner. Christi likes that, but it's not her.. forte." Uriel placed down her opinion of the conversation they just had.

"He better go and get a ring or necklace." Uriel added.
"That would be so cute!" Alvaro agreed with Uriel.

"Like those promise jewelry right? That they'll wear it until they drift." Mattia jumped in on the conversation.
"Yes.. something like that." Kairi relied to Mattia.

"I'm now gonna use Mattia's phone and find necklaces or bracelets that Christi would love!" Uriel's smiled grabbing the phone.

"Why not rings?" Alvaro asked confused. Uriel already left the call as he said that.
"She's not a ring person." Kairi replied.

"She's gonna have to wear one after marriage." Alvaro laughed.
"Whatever bro." Kairi playfully rolled his eyes. He then ended the call.
