Chapter 49

Time has flied, and school was back up. Alejandro's mom had Christi enrolled and had her prepared. Christi was honestly excited, but she was nervous. She had so much to do today, especially for the fact that she was gonna try out for the soccer team, she had been practicing with Kairi, and she was almost positive she'll get through with it.

Alvaro and Becca has been calling and texting non-stop, the often flirted a lot, and Becca already visited Alvaro for a few says in the month of August. Mattia and Uriel we're trying to figure out what would happen after Mattia graduate, the school year only was just about to start, but they wanted to be prepared. Aliz and Kairi have grown way more comfortable with each other, they are still getting there, but Aliz had join Alejandro, Christi, and Kairi's late night calls, the two were always caught smiling and flirting with each other, Kairi really made it quite obvious when he's with Alejandro and Christi. Finally, Alejandro and Christi were honestly better than ever, the two bonded a lot and Christi grew comfortable with Alejandro's family, they were all one big family, and Christi finally felt safe in a home, she knew they were people she could trust.

As Christi and Alejandro finished getting to head to their first day of school, Adriana, Alejandro's mom, stopped the two before they headed out.
"Hey, I want first day of Senior year pictures, come on." Adriana stopped the two. The two playfully rolled their eyes as they turned around.

"Don't take too long, we'll be late if so." Christi laughed as she smiled, Alejandro put his arm around Christi, and Christi rested her head on Alejandro's shoulder. The two then smiled as Adriana started to take pictures of the two.
"How many is she gonna take?" Christi asked, as she kept her smile.
"Depends.." Alejandro responded, the two laughed silently.

"Can you two kiss..?" Adriana asked the two, the two stood there awkwardly.
"Just on the cheek." Christi begged, Adriana nodded. Alejandro then pulled Christi towards him and kissed her cheek, Christi smiled cutely as he did so, Adriana catching the moment.

"I'm satisfied now, you two may go, have a great first day and please, no trouble." Adriana begged the two. The two nodded as they kissed her goodbye. They then headed out, making their way to school. The group had a spot to meet up with all of them so they can head to school together, they usually walked to school together.

"Finally, what took you two so long?" Mattia complained as he stood up from a bench that he was sitting on.
"My mom wanted to get us some pictures." Alejandro admitted.
"Don't worry, so did mine, and Kairi's." Mattia laughed.

"Let's get going before our asses are late." Kairi said as he shot up from the same bench as well. The grouped laughed as Kairi feared to be late, they then all made their way to school.

They all compared their schedules along the way, almost all of her classes were at least with one of the boys, besides PE and Science. She had Math with Kairi, English with all of the boys, Spanish with Alejandro, History with Mattia, Arts with Kairi and Mattia, and other periods that were with either boy. Their first period was English, so they always had first period together when classes would start.

In just the nick of time, the group got to school and the bell rang, the speakers then announcing that the students should head to the gymnasium for a first day of school assembly. Christi was unfamiliar with the school grounds, and she knew she'll get lost immediately, and the boys were making sure she wouldn't get lost.

She caught the eyes of a lot of students, especially the Seniors. They knew Christi through TikTok of course, but they were deadly confused on why she was at their school, attending class. They knew she originally lived in California, and were wondering why in the world was she in Mew Jersey, going to their school.

"This feels awkward." Christi mumbled, loud enough for the boys to hear.
"Just don't make awkward eye contact." Mattia mumbled back.
"Too late." Christi mumbled again. The boys laughed a little as they entered the gymnasium. They found a spot where they could sit at and they just sat there.
