Chapter 52

The group was chilling around, until they all started to get hungry, Christi, Mattia, and Uriel decided to go get some food. Alvaro and Becca decides to walk around and stretch a little. Kairi and Aliz were at the playground just climbing an round, leaving Alejandro and Chayse alone.

"Finally, a little privacy." Chayse groaned. Alejandro furrowed his eyebrows.
"What do you mean..?" Alejandro looked at Chayse with a confused look.

"Do you still feel the same way from middle school?" Chayse asked Alejandro.
"Uhm, I guess so.. why?" Alejandro still questioned.
"Nothing.. nothing important." Chayse slightly shook her head.

"How much do you love Christi?" Chayse looked over to Alejandro.
"With my whole heart, poor things been through a lot, and we bonded, and I managed to help her, it's just what love is. My instincts to help her makes me realize i genuinely love this girl." Alejandro smiled. Chayse sighed.
"I see.." Chayse thought.

"So, let me just confirm, Christi's dad left her at the age of nine, left with her abusive mother, and pretty much gone through some type of depression, and manages to move out, but moves in with you?" Chayse questioned.
"Yeah.." Alejandro furrowed his eyebrows.

"Isn't that moving too fast?" Chayse asked.
"What do you mean? Her abusive mom kicked her out, and she had no where to go, she didn't move in to be with me more, or any other stupid reason. She moved in csu's we offered her shelter, and love." Alejandro explained. Chayse parted her lips slightly not knowing what to say.

"What happens if she cheated on you?" Chayse arches her eyebrows.
"Why are you asking these questions?" Alejandro crosses his arms.
"Just answer, God dammit." Chayse quietly complained. Alejandro's eyes widen.

"I guess that means I somehow failed her, and for the fact we now live together, she started to see me a different way.." Alejandro thought.
"What if it was vice versa?" Chayse asked again.
"Purposely or not, I would never forgive myself, the fact that I somehow made her life an even more of a hell." Alejandro sighed.

"What if-"
"Shut the fuck up.. I've never asked in the first place." Alejandro stated as he stood up to join Kairi and Aliz at the playground. Chayse rolled her eyes as she exhaled deeply.

"What happened to you?" Aliz slightly laughs as a angry Alejandro walks towards his way.
"Chayse.. she started asking a bunch of questions about Christi and I.. she was like a leech, sucking out information." Alejandro explained.
"What was she asking about?" Kairi asked as he furrowed his eyebrows.

"She told us that we're moving too fast, then asked about my feelings if we cheated on each other." Alejandro explained further.
"You're overthinking again, stop it, she just wanted to get your opinion off topics and gave her opinions of situations she didn't know much about." Kairi explained what he thought to Alejandro.

"But-"
"Ale, it's fine, don't worry." Aliz smiled as she slightly patted on Alejandro's back.

Christi, Mattia, and Uriel returned with their food, everyone quickly gathered around and started picking out the food they asked the three to order and they all smiled and laughed together. Alejandro has a worried look throughout the rest of the night. Constantly looking at Chayse, not knowing with where she was going with their conversation from earlier. Christi noticed, but she wanted to ask Alejandro when they get home, she didn't want everyone all up his business if she were to ask right now.

They all stayed until sunset, they were all shocked because they weren't planning to stay that long, they all gathered their stuff and threw away their trash in the trash bins, and all made their way home. Alejandro dropped off Chayse first, then Aliz and Kairi. The two then headed back to their house.
