I closed my eyes, what a stupid way to die. My eyes widened feeling something warm, touch the side of my cheek. "I'll see you soon. Princess." The knife was no longer at my throat and the man was no longer behind me. I quickly turned around. Don't tell me he... the ocean waves slammed against each other, there laid no, a trace of him. "Princess, are you hurt." I ignored the nights, my eyes laid on the ocean.

"It was him, wasn't it." The Nights spoke with each other, they know the man? "Do you know who the man is?!" They looked at each other, Nights were allowed to speak, guards were only allowed if the king granted permission. "We deeply apologize Princess, but we can not say." I took a deep breath. "Tell me, did father forbid you from telling me." They looked down, avoiding contact. I gritted my teeth. "Out of my way." I stormed into the palace, looking for father. "Father! Father! Father!" The doors to the palace swung open, revealing the King and the sacrad nights. "Child I heard what happened, are you hurt." He grabbed my hand, I immediately retreated it away. He stared back in confusion. "Father what are you hiding from me."

I sat in fathers office. Eye to eye. "There's a bandit." My eyes widened. "A bandit!?" He nodded. "And your only telling me to know! Father why do you continue to do these things. I'm always being left in the dark, everyone seems to be knowing what going on around here but me!" He sighed. "You shouldn't worry about these things, I have it under control." My mouth was completely open. 'Father I almost died! You call that under control." He took a deep breath holding the bridge of his nose. "He wasn't going to kill you." I scowled. "And how do you know that. Don't tell me you two are buddies." He glared. "I know because," He pulled out a picture of many men, "If he wanted you dead he would have done it. But he didn't." i glared back at father.

"What are you trying to get at."

"What exactly did he say to you, when you were alone." I looked down, clearly remembering word for word 'I'll see you soon'. No way would I tell father this, he already had me on his men watch 24 hours a day, I didn't need to be on lockdown too."He didn't say anything out of the ordinary, he just told me to shut up." He scanned my face. "Are you sure child." I nodded. "Yes, I'm positive." He nodded. "Very well then." Father finally let me go to my chambers, with guards accompanying me every step of the way. I entered the room, immidetly making my towards the windows. "There's no way he could have survived that." I thought back to what happened, I brushed my fingers over my cheek, feeling my face get hot.

"He kissed me," I whispered, both eyes wide open. I shut the windows. "Gaurd! Call Miss Febian!"

The door slammed open, "Princess I heard what happen-." Her eyes widened. "Oh dear god, Princess your face." She ran towards me, "Princess your face is tomato red, I am afraid you might be coming down with a fever." She quickly placed the back of her hand on my forehead. "It doesn't seem very warm," Febian said a bit confused. I looked away. "I-it's not that." I turned away, "Just help me take this off." I felt the corset slowly begin to release my stomach. "What will. father be doing tomorrow?" The corset left my body. "I heard he would be visiting the neighboring Kingdom." My eyes widened. That means he'll be gone for a few days! "I see." She fully undressed me. "You're not thinking of doing anything rash, are you Ma-lady." I turned around letting her slip on my nightgown. "Of course not, I was almost killed today, I''m not stupid."

But I am.

Tomorrow I would leave the palace. I would wait until sunset, the guards would be rotating then, I would only have twenty seconds, to get to the kitchen area. "Ma-lady are you sure you're not falling ill." I rose my head. "No. I'm fine, you may go now." She seemed to want to say something but didn't. "Very well, have a nice night, Princess." I watched her leave, gently closing the door behind her. "I apologize in advance Febian." I headed straight to bed, avoiding my mind to wander off to the scene that took place today.

I gritted my teeth. Feeling my cheeks get warm. "You will pay for what you did bandit."

I slowly drifted off to sleep.

I coughed, pulling myself out of the water and into a cave. "Where am I." There was a small fire deeper into the cave. With no sense of direction, I followed the light. "W-what? Mother? I thought. No this wasn't, mother. The lady ended up turning around, from the back she looked young but from the front, she looked old and wrinkly. "Who are you." The old lady glared. She pointed at the rock. "Do you want me to sit," I questioned she nodded her head, rubbing her hands together."Do you see it, child."  She said, "See what?" She pointed at the fire. My eyes widened seeing the fire forme into a boy behind him laid many men. "Blood of a devil, but soul of an angel." What? "What are you saying." She grabbed my hand, "What are you-." My eyes widened seeing her slit my hand. Blood dripped onto the fire, making it blue. "The pain will soon child, you must let the water guide you. Only then will you see it." I felt my eyes go blurry, "Wait!" I felt myself begin to be consumed by darkness.

I woke up panting, covered in sweat. I quickly looked around the room. I gritted my teeth. "It was just a dream.." A very odd dream.
