Chapter 11 - I Believe You

"Daddy I made you a-" He grabbed my flower bracelet ripping it in half. 'How many times do I have to tell you that you can not leave the palace. "But, dad I" He cut me off. "Go to your chambers! Guards!" I looked down at the bracelet that was meant for dad.  I felt the guards, pull me away. I closed my eyes feeling small droplets of water, fall.

There was a nock on the door. I opened it seeing Marshal, he looked down at my face. "Close you eyes." I looked at Marshal, a bit suspicious, but I still did as he said. "Know open them." My eyes widened, it was a flower bracelet, it looked almost identical to the one that was for father, but this one had purple flowers. Like the ones mom used to like. He grabbed my hand placing the bracelt on it. I smiled. "There you that's the expression I wanted to see." He smiled. I hugged him, I was barely at hip reach. He ruffled my hair. "I'll be gone for a few days, make sure you don't get into trouble." I nodded, with a big smile on my face.

I hid behind some horses. If a guard saw me. That would be bad. If I wanted to see them this would be my only chance. I quickly ran inside the old church. Everyone's eyes widened. "Princess?!' Everyone screamed. They all ran towards me, many suffocating me in hugs. I giggled. I haven't laughed in maybe 8 Months. "I thought you had forgotten me." They aggressively shook there head no." The doors to the church slammed open. "What's the big ruckus." My eyes widened, everyone stepped aside. 

His eyes widened, dropping the wood he had in his arms. 

"Captain."- "Princess."

Everyone laughed and played, I sat on the bench to take a small break, I felt a familiar presence sit next to me. "Your hairs longer." The Captain said facing forward. I looked down at my hair, it really had gotten longer. "I heard what happened to your...mom." I looked down, "She was a good queen you know. She was alway trying to help us, bringing us food, water." My eyes widened. "You met her." He nodded. "We all did." I looked around. "They all think highly of the queen, as do I." I looked down smiling. My mom really was a good person. "You know, I haven't talked about my mom since she passed away." I clenched my dress. "Father doesn't like it when I do." Ever since she left, he has become cruel, not just with but with everyone. 

"You can speak your mind here, we will listen." He got up. Now lets go join everyone, he grabbed my hand, I nodded.

I quickly hurried out of the chambers, it would soon be, the afternoon, I told everyone that I'd meet them there. I gasped pumping into something hard. "Father." He glared down. "Where do you think you're going." I gulped. "N-no where." He roughly grabbed my arm. "Ouch, dad that hurts!" He no sypathy in his eyes. "Do you see for a fool, do you think I haven't relized what you have been doing the past month. Huh! Child!" My eyes widened. He knows. "Guards bring him in." My stomach dropped. 

Captain. He struggled against the guard's grip. "Let me go." I looked at father. "Why are you doing this, leave him alone," I screamed at the guards. Father grabbed me by the hair making me wince in pain. "This is why you have been disobeying me huh?" I shook my head no. "Don't touch her." Spat the captain.

Father laughed. "Kid, are you telling, "Me the King what to do." What to do! You know because of my dear daughter here is why your little crew was outed." 

I shook my head. "That's not true, " The captain glared at father, ten at me.

"Guards, show my dear daughter hear and the boy what happens when you not only disobey be but disrespect me to." My eyes widened, "No. No!" 

"Princess, close your eyes." 

"It's okay, don't worry I believe y-." He smiled.

"No-no. Stop." 

"Princesses wake up." I felt my body being shaked I slowly began to open my eyes. 'Yes, just like that." I heavily breathed, my throat felt dry. My upper torso was raised, I felt water drip down my dry throat. "Slowly drink, princesses." The muffled voice was beginning to sound clear, my vision was beginning to clear too. I looked up at the person who was holding me. "Bandit." I huffed, out of breath. He grinned. "The one and only." I looked around I was in the infermery room, it was dark outside. "What happened." He glared at the bowl that sat from across me. "They have been drugging you with anesthetics princesses." My eyes widened remembering. 

Father, everyone thinks I've gone mad. But to drug me like this. I know what I saw. I began hyperventilating. "Princesses, you need to calm down." I couldn't calm down, did father plan on having me in slumber my whole life. "Princesses look at me. I shook my head no. "I know what I saw." I felt my chin being pulled up. His face was just a few centimeters from my own. "I know what you saw too." My eyes widened. What did he say?

"I believe you."
