I yawned looking around my room. Let rephrase myself I yawned looking around the cell. "I forgot I was still in hear." I sighed, rubbing my head. They could have at least given me a pillow, I scowled. "Hey, you!" I spat. The guard turned around. "Go tell the King, that I want to apologize for my behavior. yesterday." The guard nodded, bowing before taking his leave. I decided I would swallow my pride, and play nice with father. I realized that staying stuck down here would not help anyone. That and if I stayed here any longer I would end up smelling like cows turd.

A group of guards soon arrived opening the cell. They walked me to my chambers and left right after clsing the door. Upon arriving I noticed a letter as well as a dress on the bed. I grabbed the letter, "So father sent the dress, huh?" I laughed. Who else would it be, it's not like I have some secret lover. Thank the heavens I don't. How exhausting would that be? A light knock was heard on my door. "Come in,  Miss Febian." The door opened. "Princesses how did you know." She stood surprised. I grinned. "My third eye spoke to me." Her shocked face was now one of a scared child. I laughed. "You're too easy to Mess with." She let out a deep breath. I turned around letting her undress me. "Who would nock so weakly." I murmured.

Febian was almost the same age as I, she's been my head made, for seven years now, each royal is given a maid, on their, tenth birthday. She was my gift. I grinned remembering that day we first met.

"I refuse! Take her back! I don't want a slave!" Father sighed, "For the last time, she's not a slave, she is a maid, her mother is a cook here, and her father a guard, no one here is being held against there well so calm down." I scoffed looking at the girl. "She looks weak," I walked up to the girl dragging her into the kitchen. "Give her food," I glared at the girl. "If you're going to be my maid, you better be strong."

Fabian started the bath, the buckets of water were already steamed before entering. "May I ask you a question ma-lady." I sighed, after all the times I have asked her not to use formalities she continues to do so, I don't blame her if father heard, she would be punished. I nodded my head, detangling my hair, with a comb. "Why do continue to disobey the King, if you will only end up getting hurt?' She was referring to the slap, I presume. I smiled looking out the window. "It doesn't matter how many times father hits me, how many times he throws me in the cells, I will continue to disobey him, just as long as I can help the people, who depend on us." There was a long silence, I retreated my gaze from the window and onto Febian, she looked down, clenching her dress. "Is there a problem?" She still. "No, Ma-Lady."

"Look at me." She did as instructed. "Is there a problem," I asked again, she clenched her jaw. "No one asked you to help, so stop risking your life, no expects anything from you! So stop!" I took a deep breath, smiling, then looking down. "I know." I walked up to Febian. Her eyes remained on the ground. I always seemed to forget how much people worried. It's easy to overlook other people's feelings when you're too busy worrying about your own. I placed my hand on her shoulder. "Sorry."  She held her head up. "I didn't mean to worry you." I bowed. "Princess! Don't!" She pulled me up. "You will be queen one day, you should never bow to a maid or anyone for that matter." I grinned, I knew this would get her to forget.

A few hours had passed by, I sat in front of, father, eating breakfast. "I'm glad you came tour senses, my child." I smiled. "Me to father, I was acting very foolish." I took a bite of my salad. Swallowing pride along with the greens. The guards stood standing close to the walls, guarding every second of our lives. I sometimes forgot they were there. Watching, "So father, would you like to go for a walk after this." He took a sip of his fine wine. "I'm going to have to decline, I will be busy the whole day, maybe next time." I nodded, hiding the grin that appeared on my face. "Oh really, what will you be doing today?" I innocently asked taking a sip of my juice.

"I'm checking the borders, there have been some issues there lately." I placed my utensils down." What kind of issues." He dusted himself off. "You shouldn't worry about these things." He sat up, "Well this was a very pleasant breakfast. I'll have to excuse myself now." I also sat up, slightly bowing. "Of course, father, have a delightful day." I grinned looking down. "And just so you know, the guards will be with you every second of the day." My grin fell. How did he know.

I walked out of the dining room, and into the kitchen, the guards followed right behind. "Lotus," I called out. "Yes, Ma-lady." He was the head cook. "Here's a list, have it done by the date listed." He nodded taking the note. I exited the kitchen heading towards the palace library, everywhere I passed maids and guards bowed. I wish they didn't. I walked inside the place I usually spent my days in, "Princess!" Yelled Mr. Noel, he bowed seeing the guards, he was usually un-formal, which is the reason I liked the crazy old man so much. "The books you have ordered have finally arrived." He excitedly said, handing me the stack of books. My eyes widened gladly taking them. "You actually managed to get them all!" He nodded with a big smile. "Princesses, I am the palaces Librarian, that an no one can deny this handsome face." I laughed. "So, what did you do to have the guards on your tail." I sighed, placing the books on a table.

"I snuck out of the palace, to go into town." He placed a finger on his chin. "You really care for the townspeople, huh?" I nodded. "How can I not." They helped me drawn my sorrow. They are the reason I still have the will to live, without them, I don't see the point of life.

I spent most of my day reading the new books

Hours later.

I sat up making my way out of the library it was now night time, the guards followed me all the way to my chambers. I glared, in annoyance. "Can't come in here can you." I slammed the door shut. "I hate this." My stomach growled. Your kidding. "No way am I going out there," Those guards are really starting to get on my nerves this whole time I felt like I was being watched, father probably had one specifically guard just me not the surroundings, because it felt like the guard was watching me the whole time. I sighed sitting myself down on the bed. A large crash was heard, making me jump, yells where heard, "Stop him." My eyes widened seeing the door to my chamber slam open. I quickly stood up. "Who are you!" The person was fully clothed with black clothes. His eyes were covered and he wore a hat.

I looked to my side grabbing a vase. "Come any closer, and I'll kill you. " The man walked closer. I screamed, at the sound of the doors slamming open, guards appeared. I gasped feeling my body, roughly get pulled into the masked man, he held a knife to my throat.  "Move or I'll kill her." I gritted my teeth. "You heard him. Move!" Are these fools, trying to get me killed! They quickly moved, if I could punch these imbisals I would, the whole day six guards have been following me around, and why is it when I need them only two show up.

The man dragged me, along with him. "Your very bold, to be doing this to the King's daughter." He grabbed an apple stuffing it in my mouth. "Mhm." He tightened his grip on my arm. "Spit it out and I'll cut your tongue off." He harshly whispered. I nodded, keeping my silence. I very much liked my tongue. We took many turns before the bells rang. I let out a deep breath finally. Hoards of guards, as well as my father's best nights, surrounded. My eyes widened spitting out the apple. "What are you doing!" We walked backward. "What did I say about the apple." I gulped, he's crazy! I was going to die alongside this crazy man. The palace cliff laid behind us. "Your mad." I gasped. "I am Princess, I am very mad," The more guards neared the closer we got to the edge. I closed my eyes, what a stupid way to die.
