I stood next to the window, looking down at the ocean. It had been a week since the incident after we arrived from the town, the Marshal placed me under lockdown, under no circumstances was I allowed leaving. Fabian ended up getting replaced with an older woman, I begged the Marshal not punish her, I took the blame, It was my plan after all, and I did force her to listen. None of this was her fault. There was a hard knock on the door. I sighed. "Come in, Maria." The Maide who was replacing Febian was in her 50's, she was certainly no Febian. "It's time for bed, Princesses Dawnaviene," I nodded, making my way in front of her, my back facing her. She quickly removed my dress, replacing it with a nightgown.

"Sleep well princess, Dawnavine." She bowed. I sighed I really hated when they bowed. None the less I made my way towards the bed. Letting darkness consume.

A few hours had passed.

"Find the boy,"

"Find him!"

"Do it now!"

I quickly woke up.

*Clatter*

"Who's there," I said in almost a whisper. There was someone behind that curtain. It was night and the only light there was, was the moon. Barley sparing a dot of light. I clenched my blanket. My eyes widened. It was her, the old lady. "Find him, he will bring you there, only then will you see, break it, do it!" I screamed. The doors immediately slammed open. "Princess!"  I clenched onto my knees. "Check every inch of this room." He slid his sword back into his belt. "Dawnavine you need to tell me what's wrong." I panted. Pointing to the certain. The Marshal immidetly pulled his sword out, in a swift motion, the curtain had fallen off.

But.

There was no one there.

My eyes widened, looking down at my blanket, "But I saw someone there." I panted. "There was someone there!" The Marshal made his way towards my side. "Marshal" I grabbed his arm. "You have to believe me, there was someone there I swear. I know there was." I'm not crazy.

I'm not.

He grabbed the blanket covering my body. "I believe you Dawnavine, If you say there was someone in your room, then there was someone in your room." The Marshal added more guards outside my door, he would also be on the watch. He must have seen how frightened I was because he sent Febian to sleep with me. Febian poured some tea into a cup, bringing it over. "How are you feeling princesses." I clenched onto my blanket.

"Do you think I've gone mad." Her eyes widened placing the tea on the small table beside us. "No of course not, don't go one thinking such things, princess." I looked at the certain. "Febian, there was someone there. I know who she was." I stuttered. "Who was it, princess." I shook my head no. "You won't believe me if I tell you." She grabbed my hand. "Tell me Dawnavine." I clenched my teeth. "It was an old lady, with white her, the thing is, that I've seen her, but in my dream." Her expression. I snatched my hands away from her hold. "You don't believe me." Her eyes widened. "No it's not that." I looked away, "I should have never told you."

"Dawn look at me." She grabbed my face. "You can tell me flying carriages exist and I'll still believe you. No matter what. Okay." She held my face in her hands. I sighed. "Here you are helping me when I treated you horribly." She let go, looking down. "You have nothing to worry about." I shook my head no. "No Febian, I have everything to worry about, your no maid to me you're my friend. Her eyes widened. I laughed. 'Why do you look so startled, it's not like I asked to court you." Her face turned red. "Princesses don't say such things." I laughed. "You know I'm only joking...about the courting part, not the friend part." She ended up making me forget for the night, but happiness is temporary. I would wake up in the morning and remember every single thing.

And I did.
