"The King wants to see you." It was mid-day by now. My father was back. I took a deep breath. "Let's go." Febian, as well as some guards, escorted me to the room of the throne. The guards waiting at the entrance opened the doors, bowing as they did. I walked inside, alone, as Febian bowed and walked to the side. I bowed. "King." He eyed me. "I have been informed of the trouble you got yourself into while I was gone, I should have your head for disobeying me." Marshal stood to the right, he told father everything. Of course, he did, I was foolish to believe that he would lie to father. I looked down. "Your right, I deserve-." He cut me off. "That's what I would have thought if the Marshal had not informed me of last nights, incident." I looked at Marshal, but he just looked straight. "My daughter I can't blame you for this, for the way you act, you can't control it." What..."I failed to realize that you were sick." My eyes widened. Sick?!

"From now on you will be working with Physician Agno, he will be helping you get through this mental illness." I huffed. "Father, you think I've gone mad! Why don't you believe me!" I looked at Marshal. "I thought you believed me." I looked back at Febian, "Does anyone believe me." Father took a deep breath, looking at Agno, he nodded.  "Princesses calm down." I backed away. "Get away from me." They were making me feel like I was in the wrong! "Guards." My eyes widened feeling the guards hold onto me while Agno placed a black cloth over my mouth making me fall unconscious.

"Call me Captain." I nodded. "Okay, Captain." He offered me a hand. "Your bold I'll give you that." Said the boy, I had just fought with. "What's your name." He said. "My name is Dawnavine, what is your name. "You just call me Captain for now." I nodded. "Come I'll show you to my secret base."

***

"M-y Lord, it's be-tter if we keep her un-der for the time bein-g"

***

My eyes widened, "Secret Base," He nodded, 'Come on let's go." He held onto my hand, his hand was bigger, it made me angry I wanted to be bigger. But I was small. The further we walked. The darker it became. I squeezed his hand, he looked down. "Don't tell me your scared." I aggressively shook my head no. He laughed. "Maybe I should call you Kitty from now on." I farrowed my eyebrows, removing my hand. "You're a mean boy, hm." I crossed my arms looking to my side. "Fine, I guess you'll just have to stay here alone."  No, I don't want to be alone.

***

"D-don't leave me," I mumbled. "She is showing signs of stage four, My lord." Said a muffled voice. "Do it, put her under."

***

"Don't leave me alone!" I quickly grabbed ahold of his hand. He laughed. "What a scaredy-cat." He held tight onto my hand, as we walked through the dark parts of town. We entered an old rundown looking church. I gulped, getting closer to Captain. "Don't look so scared, it's really not that scary." We headed down a few stairs, "Everyone this is Dawnavine, your new Co. Captian." My eyes widened seeing many kids my age, they all cheered for the co-captain. "I was the Co. Captain!?" He nodded. "You showed great bravery, against me, I was older than you as well as a boy, and yet you didn't back down from the fight, you earned my respect little Kitty and for that, you are my Co. Captain." My eyes were wide open.

"From now on we will meet here every afternoon okay." I nodded, my head. "Yes, Captain." He sheepishly grinned. "Good for now, you can go talk to everyone." I looked at the kids, then looked at the ground, scratching the back of my head. "Don't tell me your shy, you didn't look very shy when you were trying to scratch my eyes out." He grabbed my hand. "Come, I'll do the talking, you just say hello." I nodded letting out a breath of relief. Father never really let me talk to anyone my age, so I didn't really know what to say, it was a bit scary, not knowing what would happen. But Captain was with me, so I wasn't scared anymore.

---

"I'm here." I panted, out of breath. "Good now that everyone is here, we can finally start."  I followed Captain, "What are we doing." I asked. "You'll see."  He handed everyone a wooden stick. "Today we will be learning how to fight with a sword." My eyes widened with excitement. I've always wanted to play with a sword! But father said, it was only for men. He handed me my sword. "I will teach you the basics."  He taught us, how to hold a sword, and how to duck, and hit. "Okay, now that you know the basics, find a partner and spar." Everyone did as told. I looked around for a partner, I saw a boy close to my age alone. "Not so fast." A stick blocked my way. "You'll be my partner today," Captain ordered.

---

It had been a month now since I had joined the Captain, we were all walking down to the well to get some water. "Hey you kids, stop there." It was three men. They didn't seem like nice people. Captain got in front of us. "It's her." Said one of the men. I felt my stomach drop as the man pointed to me. "It's her, she's the princess."  Captain looked a bit taken back but quickly regained his composure. He pulled me behind him. "You're not laying a finger on her you ugly rats." The men glared at Captain. "Who do you think you are, little mutt, grab the girl, and let's go." Captain pushed me further back. "Everyone protect the princess with you're life."  My eyes widened. Everyone stood in front of me ready to give there lives.  I shook my head no, the men advanced, I cried seeing them get hit, we where many but they were stronger. I clenched my fist, seeing how after being beat, they were getting up again. They where to injured to fight, why weren't they stopping! "Stop!" I screamed. "Aw looks like the little princesses is, upset come over here." He advanced towards me, but Captain pulled out a small knife, stabbing the man in the knee. "You little shit." My eyes widened. "Captain!"

He laid on the floor, blood gushed from the side of his forehead. "Run princesses." I shook my head, getting in front of them. "Don't hurt them." The men grinned. 'Aw look how cute, the princesses looks, protecting her little orphan friends." My eyes widened. Orphans. "Get her." I closed my eyes, hearing a loud thud. "Right in the head." I opened my eyes seeing a young man. He was a guard. "Surround the area. Get these kids to the physician." He bowed, "Princesses, I will be escorting you back to the palace."  I hesitated. "You can trust me I will never hurt you." He pulled out his hand. I looked at it. "What's your name," I hesitantly asked. "My name...you can call me Marshal because that's what I'll be in a few years." He smiled, he doesn't look like a bad man, "You can call me Dawnavine," I took his hand letting me guide me back home.

---

"Mommy please let me see them," I begged, it had been two weeks since the attack. "I'm sorry, my love, but that is not up to me your father believes that you will get hurt if you continue to visit them." Mother coughed and coughed. Blood. My eyes widened. "Mom!"

---

"Mommy I brought you your favorite, flower, and some orange juice." Mom smiled. But she looked so weak and so pale. She laid in bed, every hour the physician would come in to treat her. I didn't know what the treatment was like because they would tell me to leave every time the physician was here. "Thank you. My love." I smiled. "Mommy you'll get better right." Her expression, "I will." She was lying.

---

I stood in front of a casket.
