"I must be in heaven, if I knew heaven was this beautiful, I would have left a long time ago." I shuffled. "Quite let me sleep," I mumbled, squeezing the pillow that laid under me...wait. My eyes shot open meeting eyes with the one and only. The bandit. "Good morning, princess." He smirked. "You!" I quickly extended myself up. "What did you do, why am I on top of you!" He shrugged. "Princesses your the one who came onto my bed last night, and took advantage of me while I was in such a vulnerable state," He smirked. "Do you plan on straddling me the whole day, not that I'm complaining, but this doesn't look very appropriate to be doing in front of kids." He pointed behind me, my eyes widened, seeing the twins with there mouths wide open. They quickly ran off. "Wait it's not what it looks like!" I tried getting off, my face became extremely hot. "What are you doing! Let go." His hands gripped onto my waist.
"I don't really feel like it, princess." He closed his eyes. "I'll kill you." There was a smug look on his face. "Do it. I dought you'd succeed." I punched his chest. He hissed, "My wound." My eyes widened. Oh no. "Are you-." I was flipped onto my back, he was now on top of me. I gasped. "What-." He looked directly into my eyes. "You're too soft princesses." My breathing intensified, my chest rose up and down, hitting his own chest. My lips parted seeing as I could no longer breathe from my nose. He looked down at my lips.
There was a loud cough, coming from behind. Mrs. Ann! "Oh, my dear lord! I'm sorry to interrupt, but I just thought I should let you know that the rebel army would be in town, Uhm that's it." She quickly left the room. 'Wait! No. It's not what it looks like." I died inside. What must she think of me now!? I glared at the bandit. He smiled. "What's wrong princess, you look mad." I farrowed my eyebrow. "This is all your part, she probably thinks, I'm not a virgin anymore-." My eyes widened, he grinned. Why am I always spitting out embarrassing things!? "Don't you dare say anything." I threatened, he put his arms up. "Yes, mam." My eyes darted towards the window there seemed to be commotion outside. "What is going on out there," I said. The bandit, got off to check himself. My eyes widened. So this is there true colors. I stormed out of the room making my way downstairs. "Princess what's wrong." I opened the door before Mrs. Ann could say anything.
"Please-please stop, he's only a kid." Begged the mother. The General laughed. "Let's make a deal, you give me the time of my life tonight and I'll let this mutt go." The mother gritted her teeth. "You disgusting pig." She spat. The general raised his hand to slap her, "What did you say, little bitch, who do you think you are." I quickly snatched the kid away. "That's exactly what I'd like to know." He turned around getting ready to slap me instead. But he quickly retreated. "Suprise, Surprise, what do we have here, well if it isn't the princess, " I glared. "May I say, aren't you supposed to be locked away in your chambers," I pierced my eyes into his ugly eyes. "And aren't you supposed to be training your men. General." There was a long silence before, he laughed. "My, my, I wonder, how your father will react once he finds out, that his dear little daughter, disobeyed his order, once again. Will, he perhaps beat you, maybe sell you off to a prosti-," A sword pointed right onto his neck catching me and everyone else off guard.
"That's enough of you General." My eyes widened.
Marshal.
The General put his hands up. "It was merely a joke, Marshal, don't be so uptight." The general panicked. The Marshal deepened the blade of his sword onto his neck, making him gulp. "Disrespecting royalty like this is a crime, but I'm sure you knew that. "General"." His eyes widened. "Now apologize to the princesses." The Marshal pushed the General down onto his knees. "I- Forgive me, princesses." I gritted my teeth. "I'm not the one you should be apologizing to." He lifted his face. I glared at him. This the moment I relized that his fear for death was much bigger than his own ego and pride. "Please forgive me, Madam, for know on I will respect women, " He even apologized to the kid. It made me, question, how much power the Marshel really had, If I would have said this to the general myself he would have laughed, but coming from the Marshel, he even went down on his knees to apologize to a civilian.
"Guards place him the cell for a week, no food, no water." The guards nodded taking the General. Serves him right. "Uhm, thank you princesses." The shy little boy thanked me. He gave an apple. "Here, I'm sorry I stole, I won't do it again." I shook my head. "Keep the apple, " I looked around making sure no one would see. "Here take this, use it to buy food. Be wise about it, It's not much but I hope this helps." His eyes widened. "You, your not like, everyone has been describing the royals to be." He was shocked. "Thank you, princesses, I will remember this." He ran off to his mother who also thanked me. I sighed.
It's no wonder these civilians think of us as monsters, my father's own army isn't helping the situation, by harassing the people. My eyes widened, I forgot. I have to get away from here. "Not so fast young lady." I slowly turned around. "Marshel....lovely day..."
I'm in trouble now.
