chapter 18

"tae, i think that's enough now.", jeongguk says after watching tae eating his fourth muffin and way too much candy. they finished the movie and are watching the next right now.

"why?", taehyung asks confused.

"you'll get a bellyache."

"no, i won't."

"you will.", suddenly namjoon says, because he knows his brother. he'd always eat too much candy and cry after that because he's in pain.

"ugh.. okay.", taehyung says and leans back again, just to be held close by jeongguk again. taehyung leans against jeongguk and feels how tired he gets suddenly.

too tired to stay awake.

that's why he puts his head on jeongguk's chest and wraps his arms around his stomach, so that he can't see the tv anymore. but he doesn't care since he's sure that he'll fall asleep.

"a clingy baby, huh?" jeongguk asks and pulls him closer, so that taehyung is sitting on his lap now.

jeongguk could coo at that, but he just wraps his arms around him and starts rubbing and stroking his back softly.

"only for you.", he says and jeongguk chuckles again. he's so so cute.

jimin looks over to them and has to smile because it's so unbelievably cute.

"you guys are staying over, right?", namjoon asks.

"i guess.", jimin says and namjoon just nods.

"jeongguk, you sleep with taehyung in his bed, jin you sleep in my bed and yoongi and jimin you guys can sleep in the guest room.", namjoon says and jimin blushes madly.

"taehyung will fall asleep any moment.", jeongguk says, still rubbing his back softly and slowly.

"when the movie's over can you take him to his bed?"

"sure."

jeongguk looks at taehyung's pretty face and removes a strand from his face. he chuckles when taehyung crunches his nose because of that.

"tae?", jeongguk whispers ten minutes later but when he gets no answer, he knows that taehyung fell asleep.

"guys, we'll go to sleep now.", jeongguk says and lifts taehyung up like a bride.

everyone says their good nights and jeongguk makes his way upstairs with the sleeping taehyung in his arms.

but unexpectedly he wakes up, his eyes slowly flutter open. "jeongguk?", he asks, when they just enter taehyung's room.

"hey.", jeongguk says and has to smile because taehyung looks just adorable. jeongguk lets taehyung down in his bed before he sits down.

"are you tired?", taehyung asks him and jeongguk shakes his head. "not really."

"okay.", taehyung says and sits up.

"what are you doing?", jeongguk asks.

"i'm gonna stay awake with you."

"why? you can sleep, i don't min-"

"no. wanna talk to you.", taehyung says with a sleepy voice. jeongguk smiles.

"about what?"

"doesn't matter."

taehyung sits now right next to jeongguk and puts his head on his shoulder. jeongguk takes taehyung's hand in his own and starts doing that stroky thing with his thumb.
