chapter 43

1 year later.

taehyung and jeongguk are the happiest they possibly could be. everything goes amazing, taehyung parents support them and they're doing good at school.

his mother's ex boyfriend is still in jail and he will stay there for a very long time. jeongguk has only once talked to his mother but she's still not healthy and it made jeongguk unbelievably sad. but she promised to contact him as soon as she feels better and that jeongguk should just continue with his life. and that's what he's doing.

he's still working at the tattoo parlor and he loves his job. he has become really good at tattooing.

taehyung finally has a driver's license and it's friday evening as he's driving to the tattoo parlor, knowing that jeongguk's shift will be over soon. jeongguk doesn't know that he's coming though.

he arrives and goes inside where he immediately sees jeongguk. a girl is paying him, probably just got a tattoo done by him.

the girl says goodbye and leaves the tattoo parlor, not without smiling at taehyung who smiles back warmly.

"baby.", jeongguk says suprised and excitedly, didn't expect to see taehyung.

he immediately wraps his arms around his waist as taehyung wraps them around his neck, hugging him tightly.

"i missed you.", taehyung mumbles into his shoulder and jeongguk smiles.

"i missed you too baby."

taehyung lifts his head to put his lips on jeongguk and kiss him. of course he responses to the kiss, already missed tasting his lips.

they pull back again and taehyung smiles widely at him.

"how was your day?"

"it was good, we have a new employee i had to teach him some things. how was your day?"

"it was ok, just a little boring."

"i'm sorry."

"for what?", taehyung chuckles.

"for leaving you alone and-"

taehyung rolls his eyes.

"we already talked about this gguk. if i get too bored i still can hang out with our friends, i just didn't feel like it today.", he giggles.

"yeah, you're right."

"let's go?", taehyung asks and jeongguk nods. he makes sure that everything is cleaned up, before he locks the parlor and leaves with taehyung.

"where are we going?", taehyung asks, wanting to know if they're driving to taehyung's house or jeongguk's apartment.

"yoongi hyung is gone for the night.", he answers with a smirk and taehyung knows what that means.

"tae i want to show you something.", jeongguk says after taehyung enters his room after he took a shower, dried his hair, and put on an oversized sweater and boxers from jeongguk.

"what is it?", taehyung asks and sits down on the bed now where jeongguk is also sitting. he sits down right in front of him, curiously and a little confused looking at jeongguk.

he frowns when jeongguk shows him his hand but his eyes widen when he sees it. it doesn't take long for taehyung's eyes to fill with tears, seeing the letter 'T' on jeongguk's hand, under his ring finger.

"gguk.", he says, grabbing jeongguk's hand with both hands to look at the tattoo better which is written in a pretty handwriting.

"you did it yourself, didn't you?"

"yes."

taehyung quickly literally jumps on jeongguk, wrapping his arms around his neck and almost killing him by hugging him too tightly.

"i love it. thank you so much.", he says, getting all emotional so that even a tear rolls down his cheek.

taehyung is sitting on his lap now as he pulls back to look at jeongguk's face, who is smiling warmly at him and then kissing his lips for a short time.

it really means a lot to taehyung. the fact that he got the tattoo, something that stays forever is enough to make him really emotional.

"don't cry.", jeongguk chuckles, seeing a couple more tears leaving taehyung's eyes.

"thank you.", he just repeats.

"of course baby. i love you more than anything, you know that right?"

taehyung nods.

"i love you too."

then he cuddles up on jeongguk's chest while he's still sitting on his lap, just enjoying the feeling of being held by his lover and feeling the warmth that comes from him.
