chapter 12

school is over and they are standing at the schoolgates, saying their goodbyes to their friends. taehyung is more than nervous because pretty soon he'll sit with jeongguk in the same car.

taehyung hugs jimin tightly. "pray that it won't get too awkward.", he whispers into jimin's ear and jimin giggles. "it'll be alright, don't worry." taehyung takes a deep breath and nods.

"come.", jeongguk says to taehyung and he nods, starting to follow jeongguk quietly until they reach his car.

taehyung gets in quietly and he's so nervous that he tells himself to calm the fuck down because his heart started to beat way too fast.

jeongguk starts the car and is concentrated because he's parking out right now and there's not a lot of space since he's standing between two cars.

taehyung looks at him and hopes that it isn't too obvious but he just can't keep his eyes off him. he's so beautiful and hot at the same time, the way he furrows his brows while concentrating is just sexy.

then he finally parks out and drives down the street. "you can stop staring at me now, you know?"

taehyung's heart stops. he can feel his face burning and he could slap him. "i-i-i w-wasn't, i-i-", he stutters and jeongguk just grins to himself, almost like he's trying to hold in his laugh.

"it's ok.", he says but still taehyung would like to sink in the ground right now. jeongguk keeps on smiling to himself while taehyung is still red as hell and doesn't even dare to look at jeongguk. but jeongguk is fast in changing the topic.

"are you okay? i mean because of this yugyeom guy."

taehyung really felt horrible about what happened and he can't understand why they called him 'jackson's new bitch'. did jackson tell them that? that'd be very stupid since he got beaten up already.

"it's okay i guess. i just wonder why they said that. i mean... i don't want jackson to spread some fake shit, you know?"

"yeah. i don't think that he'd want to get beaten up again."

for some reason taehyung blushes at that. maybe because of the fact that jeongguk would beat up jackson again for taehyung.

taehyung thinks for a second. actually it wouldn't be fake shit... he kissed jackson and went to bed with him. they didn't go further but still... maybe that's enough for other people to call him a bitch. he thinks it's understandable.

his thoughts make him feel sad again. why is he so good at making himself feel this bad?

"what's wrong?", jeongguk asks, looking at taehyung.

"oh, nothing.", he smiles and jeongguk decides to not ask about it anymore.

"so um.. who was that guy from earlier?"

taehyung frowns and has to think for a second who he's talking about. it doesn't take him too long though. "oh, you mean bogum hyung?"

"yeah.", jeongguk says. "bogum hyung.", he ads.

"oh, he's just a friend. he's very nice."

"just a friend? so.. you guys aren't a thing?"

"oh no, no. he's really just a friend.", he says. "but i think he sees more in you than just a friend.", jeongguk says and taehyung frowns again, not understanding why he would say that.
