Love is Clueless

Chapter 24

8 months later

Rolling over the next morning, I feel a weight around my waist holding me down. I smile knowing who it is as I curled into their chest as much as I can with my belly.

"Good morning beautiful" He says as he kissed my forehead

"Good morning" I say back "You need to brush your teeth"

"What?" He looks at me and I start to laugh rolling over onto my back "You think your so funny," He grumbles walking into the bathroom to brush his teeth.

I get up and stretch my muscles before grabbing clothes for a shower. Heading into the bathroom I give him a kiss on the cheek "Are you going to help me shower?" I ask him

He sends me a smirk "Are you just wanting me in the shower with you?"

"No," I tell him "I just can't reach my legs or feet with this big belly."

I walk over and strip out of my clothes and get into the shower as I'm washing my hair I feel him start to rub my back with the loofah. "Thank you" I tell him

"Always," he replies.

After the shower, we both head into the bedroom and get dressed and head down stairs to grab some food. Me not wanting pancakes, I grab the strawberries out of the fridge and start to make a strawberry banana smoothie. When I get a sharp pain go threw my back. I place a hand on the counter to try and steady myself.

Jack comes up behind me and places a hand on my back, "Are you ok Reign?"

"Yea I'm fine," I say "I think it's just Braxton hicks"

We finish up getting everything ready and I can feel Jacks eyes on me every once in awhile checking to make sure I'm ok.

Getting my coat on I give Jack a swift kiss on the lips before heading out the door to go to work.

While clocking in, I get another pain in my back but this time it hurts a lot more. I continue on with my day for a few hours until the pain starts to get worse.

When I start Groaning, a nurse comes over to me "are you ok sweetie" she asks.

"I think I'm just having Braxton hicks," I smile trying to reassure her and myself.

"How far along are you?" she asks walking me over to a chair so I can sit down.

"8 months and a few days," I tell her while another one comes on "It's too soon"

"Ok, take a deep breath, I will call the doctor down." She pulls out her phone to page a doctor "And management so someone else can come in for your shift."

"Thank you" I tell her before pulling out my own phone.

"Hey babe, you ok?" Jack asks as soon as he picks up the phone

Another contraction happens and I groan "Babe, What's wrong?" He asks and I can hear his keys jiggle in the back ground.

"I think it's time." I grit out as a doctor comes over and takes me to a room and gets me set up.

I change into a gown and lay on the bed waiting for jack to come in.

The nurses come in and talk to me, to keep me distracted and hook me up to monitor the two babies and my contractions.

Jack walk in just as I was groaning from another contraction. When I see him I start to cry and he rushes over to my side.

"Shhh" he try's to sooth me but I smack his hands away "Is it that bad already?" he asks

"No," I tell him, "It's just too soon, they aren't ready to come out yet."

"it's ok, these doctors know and love you, I know they will do everything to help our little ones"

"I can't loose another one, Jack" I continue to cry "I just can't ."

Doctor Rose tells me to try to keep my legs still so she can check if I'm ready to push or not, the contractions have gotten to 2 minutes apart. It's now been 16 hours of contractions and I'm beyond tired of the pain.

"It's time" She looks up and tells me as all the doctors and nurses start to walk around and gown and glove the doctor.

"How do you know? I was only dilated to 7 a few minutes ago?" I ask her while I sweat and Jack grabs my hand.

"Because I can see one of the little ones heads." she tells me "Ones trying to make an early break out."

I take a breathe as she tells me I need to push. Screaming while I push and push, Jack whispers in my ear that I'm doing a good job. 

The doctor walks over to my and has a bunch of other doctors and nurses behind me. "On the count of tree I want you to push, ok?" she asks looking up at me

I nod "Ok, 1.. 2.. 3.. push"

I'm laying on the bed and I'm exhausted but holding my baby boy, while jack sits next to me holding our baby girl.

We had a boy first and then a girl, we named the boy Xavier Lee Anderson and our baby girl Lesly Marie Anderson.

I love my mini family, and cant wait for what the future holds.
